I'm asking this because some of my friends and even some adults say I'm childish, weak and may have seriuos problems in my adulthood. They say this because I'm more attached to my parents than most teens. I have a normal life, hang out with friends, paly sports, I'm a good student. But I like my parents, they treat me with love and I lime this. Last saturday I went to the movies with them and it was cool. Another example: Last week I ended up giving in to peer pressure and had som beer at a friend's home. I felt so bad that I told my mom and apologized, I trust and love her. I thought she might get hurt, upset, but she understood, just made me promise to be stong next time, I cried like a lil, girl, she hugged me and I got so happy she forgave me. And now you'll laugh: I was so upset that when I told mom we were in public, in a shopping center, but I couldn't wait. So, everybody saw that scene

What brand sells 100% cranberry juice, with cranberry being the only ingredient?? I just bought some that said 100% juice, with cranberry on the front, and on the side it said 27% cranberry juice. In the ingredients it listed several juices.
I need it to be more that 27% cranberry.

A member of my family is an employee and works out at the YMCA. While she was in the locker room, she was getting putting her lotion on and preparing to get dressed. An employee who is a teen "camp counselor" walked into the womens locker room and stood there and watched her. When she looked up she saw that he was standing there looking at her and screamed. Other women were in the locker room said that they heard a mans voice and that he said something right after she screamed (she didnt hear him) According to her, the staff almost seemed ike they were trying to cover up for this kid, her boss said that he has to look into it and hear the kids side of the story first. The kid said that he was looking in there for a child that belongs to his camp group (right.) she does not know what to do, who to call, but she says that if they dont fire him she cant work there anymore. She says she feels violated and uncomfortable especially with him there. Any thoughts on this matter? legal or other?

Is this normal? Is this bad? I really don't know what to do; I feel like I've gone way over my head. I have like 7 credit cards and it's hard to keep up with the minimum payment every month because it's hard to remember which ones I've paid and which ones I haven't, etc. I am just a server, but it's in an upscale restaurant and I can make over $400 on weekends and usually over $100 a night (closer to $200 if I'm working a double). I really don't know if my situation is as bad as my parents are making it seem like, but if it is, what are some ways to help fix this before I get in over my head? Is it too late?? I'm so stressed out over this and I have nooo idea what to do...

There has been a custody battle over my 9 year old sister for the past year now. My father, whom I live with and so does my 16 year old brother, has been trying to get full custody because of the awesome location of where we live. Chicago, is where my mother currently lives and my sister is in the Chicago Public School system. We live in the Lincoln-Way district of 210. There is a huge difference in the quality of the curriculum and the way of living, so much safer than the city. Let me give you a bit of a background on my mother.
In the year 1999 my parents split, because my mom was having an affair on my father, while she had 3 kids at home. She has always been the "stay at home mom" but never gave us kids the respect we deserved, she was not an alcoholic or a drug abuser but, it was more mental abuse with how she made us think about ourselves. My brother and I got to choose where to live, but my sister is REALLY afraid of my mom and doesn't want to speak up and say what she wants...

So I recently found out that my fiance lied to me twice in the last couple of weeks. Both times she promised she wouldn't do something, but did it anyway.

I told her how I felt and that it bothered me, but what should I be expecting to happen? How can I get over it? She pretty much just tried to turn the whole thing around on me.

I dont mean this to sound worse than it does, so please try not to be nasty with answers- but were all honest on here right?!?!

I am a white woman, young, attractive, and everytime I go to the club or walk down the street, or driving down the street (or whatever) Black men scream "A Girl" and get mad when I dont reply, call me a white BI**H and think im stuck up, when really...

#1-I dont reply to "A GIRL" no matter what race is yelling it

#2-I dont date outside of my race (nothing against it for others im just not attracted to men of other races)

and...#3-if im a "white bi**h, then why are you trying to talk to me anyways?!?!!?!?

Other races do this too ---but mostly black men and i just dont understand why??? Is it because im white and im supposed to be easy? What do you think?

Who really believes he's going to leave the Yankees? As a Red Sox fan, I'd love to see him playing shortstop in Boston. It's probably unlikely, but wouldnt he be crazy to leave New York?

So, I'm getting married this Oct. to the best man I've ever met. Honest, kind, sincere, loving...opens doors for me, flowers every other week, provider, etc. It was almost hard to settle with him because I'm the girl that goes for the challenge and he's so wonderful. But, I wisened up and told myself I was stupid to let him go and it's actually a good thing to not have to be worried about the security of our relationship.
My question is, I have this one relationship in my past that was filled with drama and pain, but was so passionate and deep. We never actually got the chance of a full fledged relationship because there were too many things in our way. If we were together, we would have caused pain in other people's lives and everytime we tried it, it was just too much work, but it wasn't because we didn't love each other intensely. Is it common to have that ONE relationship in your past that still weighs on you...even when you're marrying someone else?

If not, why not? Any scriptural support?

I'm agnostic, so I neither need atheists telling me I'm foolish for believing in God nor Christians telling me I'm betraying my faith.

I am seeking information.

'll try to make this long story short:

I have been studying myself and the world for some time now and have changed many of my world views. At this point I no longer consider myself muslim as my family does. I am a south asian (living in North America) and althgouh in my early twenties, live at home with my parents because I'm required to by tradition. I live in a rather dysfunctional and somewhat abusive family as my parents have very strict and narrow minded requirements for us (such as having no contact with the outside world, having no friends, spending our life obeying and never questioning etc.) My life (and that of my siblings) is composed of short periods of 'good times' followed by long periods of severe verbal and sometimes physical abuse by the parents, most of the times for something as simple as not getting having too much or too little salt in the food (I cook). We never disrespect them while they go on because deep down, we know that it's not really their fault they are this way. They came from very religious and severly dysfunctional families themselves. It has now come to the point that they are asking (forcing) me to marry a muslim boy of their choice. I have a Catholic boyfriend and we are very serious about each other. After much talk and debate, we decided that he would 'convert' just for them (in reality neither of us belives in the religion, so it would be just to make the folks happy). I told them about him for the first time yesterday and they got extremely angry, I feel lucky to be alive right now. They now tell me that I either have to convert him and marry him and then leave home and never show them my face again (they would disown me), or I have to marry the guy they want me to AND do it with a smile on my face. They are also very serious about telling me that if I go ahead and marry my boyfriend and he doesn't convert, then they have a God given responsibility to kill me (literally murder me) and they will do it no matter what they have to face for it!

My question is, what am I to do in this situation? As bad as they behave towards me, they're still my parents and I don't want to hurt them by leaving. On the other hand, I can't marry the guy they want me to, not just because of my boyfriend, but because I do NOT want to live my life being muslim, and I will NEVER bring my children up under this religion!! I believe that we all choose our life path in the time between lives, and do it based on the lessons we want to learn from the life. I just wish I could figure out the lesson I am supposed to learn from this? Which is more important? My beleifes and principles, or the feelings of those who brought me up? Any opinions?
