After all, most people don't live on farms, or herd cattle, and such. What could we have in common with such backward folks? It might be nescessary to upgrade religion, to suit the needs of an information age, and cut out any affiliation with dirt grubbers, butchers, other less evolved folks.

Does this question sound familiar? Please excuse my poor attempt at sarcasm, but I get the idea from others, that they think they are just a little better than the patriarchs of the Bible.

My children and I are going through a difficult time now and I was wondering if anyone knew of any uplifting, encouraging, positive phrases that may help us keep a good outlook on life, to get through this time. I am over here in Asia and I have a BF who is in the army. He is not an American and I love him very much and he knows this. I want to have a home teacher to tutor me the language. language exchange not so serious. Just bored at home so my friend found me the teacher.The teacher is a guy. I told my BF this and I think he is worried but I did assure him its nothing. The teacher also wanted to go swimming with me I told this to my BF I don't think he wants me to go am I wrong to tell my BF this..I just tell him everything. I know he is busy but when I send him things he lets me know in his own way he got the things. And he will leave his cellphone on 24/7 now so I can send him messages.

I have one... I regreted having wished for a little sibiling this kids like 11 now and that kid's really getting on my nerves. I mean like the kid calls me mean names and hit me with this ball and pretends like it wasn't done on purpose. Ofcourse I just ignore everything, but in the end I STILL get in trouble because I ignore this kid.

Ok.. when I play barchords (i think thats what they are called)

everything sounds good on the left hand on the fret, but when i start to move in to the middle it starts to sound like ****... Heres a sample of what I mean.. http://www.sendspace.com/file/fwpg53

Is my guitar supposed to sound like this? I KNOW its in tune, but how do i get a more stable sound.. The first 3 sounds are from the first string, Then the next 3 on the second, then I continue onto the next string.. Is this a normal sound or just a crappy guitar?

I am getting married Aug 4th and I have a tax question. Me and my future spouse will be living apart, him in DC and me in Richmond. I will be living with my father. My father has taken out some money for me from his retirement this year (for college) and is depending on filing me as a dependant so that he can get some of this money back he will loose. Can I be married and still claimed by my father as a dependant? I will live in his house and be dependant but I just didnt know if this would mess his taxes up. Seriouse answers only please.
