The three mentioned are the same that come to my mind as far as living. I wonder how many people realize what a great repertoire of country songs that Ray Charles has such as "Georgia On My Mind" ,"Busted", "Crying Time", "Seven Spanish Angels", "you're Cheatin Heart", "I Can't Stop Loving You", Take These Chains from My Heart and many many more.

Cowboy Troy is the only black man at this time singing country music. It is kind of a different type of country, but it is not to bad

Does Charley Pride count? His songs, "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'", "Is Anybody Goin to San Antone?" "I'm Just Me" he performs at the Opry and in Branson.

There's black singer on "Nashville Star" called "Cowboy Troy" I guess he's pretty popular, has a TV show.

I've heard of a singer who fought cancer, he's African American, but I can't recall the name .Sorry.

Ray Charles recorded great country songs, like "Georgia on my Mind" and "Cryin' Time"

I'm sorry but the only ones that I can come up with that are still singing are Cowboy Troy and Charley Pride. In fact Charley Pride was just in my town about a week ago performing.
Take Care,

There was a black guy from here in Louisiana "Trini Triggs" he did a duet with Charley Pride too. He's an awesome singer and very, very good-looking. I'm extremely disappointed that we don't see or hear his music on mainstream radio. In fact, most mainstream country music that's played on today's radio isn't any good. 2D

You should try to look him up on Napster or Limewire. He's really good.
