If a person charged with a crime claims they did not commit the crime with their knowledge or with any intention would this person most likely be found innocent of the crime? There is also no hard evidence or reason as to why this person committed the crime only the assumption that they did.

All of my granparents have died within the last few years, and I really want to get a tattoo that represents what they have taught me and what they mean to me.

One of the ideas that I've had, was having a word or phrase about how they watch over me or guardian angels, etc. If anyone has any good quotes or ideas that they could lend me it would be greatly appreciated!!!

1. Ur friend Maurice says that to apply the largest amount of torque to an object, you have to apply the greatest amount of force possible. Alicyn says that a small force is enough, but that the distance should be as large as possible. How would you settle this argument between your friends?

2. Bob is playing on a seesaw w/ his friend Courtney. Bob has a weight of 450N and he is sitting at the very end of his side of the 4m long seesaw. Where will Courtney, who weighs 600N, have to sit to balance the seesaw?

My partner and I are going to Tasmania for 3 or 4 days. I'm 20 (he's a bit older) and we need things to do.

We are not interested in sight seeing.

Where can we play pool near Salamanca Place? (We'll have a car so we can travel).

I was going to organise a trip to the snow for some snowboarding although there is no SNOW! :(

Any wine tasting or anything like that? Can we do paint balling? Is there any theatres we could go see? Ballet? (Hehe! He'd love the ballet).

Please help me with entertainment in Tasmania!

- My father owns a restaurant at Salamanca Pl so we'll definatley check out the Markets on Saturday.

We are arriving Thursday 12 July 2007.

- also, we're from Melbourne.

Say you have a car that's paid off and you could get $15,000 for it. And if you sold it, you could pay off your credit card debt in full. Then you'd go out and buy a new car for around $300 a month (cheaper than what your credit cards cost per month!). Would that be a wise decision?

How can a guy running for President of a country that's involved in TWO wars list the 12 most important issues of his candidacy and NEVER mention Iraq or Afghanistan in ANY of them? If you're president of a country at war, shouldn't that be your NUMBER ONE commitment?

... then are you not an athiest in respect to all the other gods that have been claimed by man? Wouldn't you be merely 1/___ (somebody smarter than me please fill in the blank,) part god-believer and the rest athiest just like me?

(There, do you see now how tiny the difference between us really is and how small a step it is to understanding your world without the help of fantasy gods?)

As a soldier who did 2 tours in Iraq, I know first hand how frustrating it can be serving in a nation who's language you don't speak. It also brought up a question about WW II I had never considered. At the height of their conquest, the Germans controlled areas that spoke Dutch, French, Russian, Slavic, Greek, ect. Did they have a policy of employing collaborators for translation (who might be secretly lying to them to help their people), or did they try to train their own guys to speak all of these languages? Just wondering, because it seems like a pretty big problem, especially considering they were administrating the govt. in so many of these places.

I wish guns weren't held by the general public, but it's a freedom of the bill of rights, so I accept it as an American freedom.

I'm not an atheist, but I wish they were not forced to say "under God" when they recite the pledge, as guaranteed by the separation of church and state. ("under god" was added by Pres. Eisenhower, not our founding fathers)

I would never burn our flag and do not like the sight of it, but I defend a persons right to do so.

So I ask you, do you accept and rejoice in American freedom, or do you rejoice only in the freedoms you feel are appropriate?
