Cast iron is difficult 2 weld first prob u have is that exhaust manifolds get hot and this burns the carbon out of the metal . but if you use something like jb weld it will contaminate the weld area making welding prob not a option in the future. If you can remove the manifold have them tig welded it with silicone bronze that is the best chance u have.It should be preheated to about 450degrees then lightly peen the weld area. just let it air cool if u hear a snap when its cooling it didn't work then try a high temp epoxy good luck

Cast iron is extremely difficult to weld, you might try JBWeld epoxy, it can do some amazing things. If not, figure on replacing it.
One thing no one has mentioned is that you will be exposing yourself to carbon monoxide poisoning, though the chance is arguably not significant enough for most won't happen to me types to care, you need to keep that in mind, especially if you have significant leakage.

Well you said that small cracks. If its just small cracks with no sound of exhaust leaks, I wouldn't worry about it. But if you can hear it leaking or smell exhaust in the car than do yourself a huge favor and replace it. A exhaust leak can cost a lot in repairs like a burn valve. So Good Luck

It would probably cost you just as much to get another manifold from a wrecking yard as it would cost to have it welded, and you would not have to worry about the welds coming undone

yes you could have it welded we use to weld them and it held good.. you can use a wire welder or the old stick weld with the stick welder if the manifold is cast go to a welding supply shop and get a couple stick of cast rod..

Do not worry about them unless they crack all around, and yes the products you mention will work for awhile.
