Angels sound good; however, tombstones are the most common. Also if you can find a great Tattoo artist (a rarity) someimes they can draw their actual faces on you.

i'm not a fan of word tattoos. if i were going to get a tattoo for my grandparents i would get a banana for my grandmother and a mandolin laying in blue grass for my grandfather. i would have the banana laying next to the mandolin. i like more literal and artsy type tattoos. i think it's more personal than just writing something. after all... a picture is worth a thousand words right?
what specific things remind you of your grandparents? that kind of tattoo definitely has a better story and meaning to it.

This is an ironic question. Your grandparents probably taught you not to get a tattoo.
Get something that would remind you of them every time you look at it. Did you pick flowers with any of them? Get a flower. Did any of them own a farm? Get a horseshoe. There are far too many possibilities.

When it comes to tribute tattoos, I firmly believe that you should incorperate something unique to each person that reminds you of them or an experience you have had with this person.
For my grandfather, I plan to have a bass guitar, because last christmas, our families both got us fenders, and we learned to play together.
My grandmother would be a teddy bear, because when she would come see me in the hospital, she always brought me a new teddy bear, and when she died, I buried my favorite one with her.
I figure that would give you a general idea of what I'm talking about.

Quotes may get too long..........and you don't want it too big.
Tombstones are not tasteful for that sort
of thing.
Type in "Guardian Angels" or "Angels"
on your task bar and then click on
images at the top.
You should be able to find something
there...........it could have it's arms spread apart holding a banner with all the initials on....or even special names that you called each of them.
You can think of something.......I know
you can.
good luck

i think it would be cute to get something that reminds you of each of them, like a pair of glasses, or knitting needles, a banjo (!) a purse/bag.
you could get super original and cute with it!
or have their names inside cherries and have two pairs of cherries - for each set of grandparents

did they all have any one thing in common? like they all liked the same type of flower/tree/dog etc? if so you could get that as the main Tat to go along with ur saying
as far as saying go "always remembered"
or you could get a Heart with all thier Intials inside of it and then get a ribbon going across the heart and it could say somthing like " always in my heart" or "forever in my heart"
