How can a guy running for President of a country that's involved in TWO wars list the 12 most important issues of his candidacy and NEVER mention Iraq or Afghanistan in ANY of them? If you're president of a country at war, shouldn't that be your NUMBER ONE commitment?

Yes, his number one is the war on terror...(or "terror's war on us"). I'm talking about actual wars where we have soldiers and sailors fighting and dying. Not wars of rhetoric (war on terror... war on drugs... war on illiteracy... war on poverty etc... etc...).

I agree, but perhaps it's just a reflection of the country as a whole. I wonder every day why we just now are concerned about immigaration, climate change, etc. All of it was there before the war and it will not hold it back much if we stop worrying about it and concentrate on the most important issue until it's solved. People are dying every day and congress and the president waste their time dealing with things that aren't half as important.

Edit: If the other answerers are correct, he did mention it. But I still stand by what I said about america as a whole.

Line # 1 of his list
I will keep America on offense in the Terrorist's War on us

Now I want to ask you, what part of that does not speak of Afghanistan or Iraq? You do understand that we have military missions going on all over the world right? No just those two places.

Sorry to say, but Rudy mentions them in Commitment # 1.

"I will keep America on offense in the Terrorist's War on us"

The one thing that is missing is a commitment to have a balanced budget by a certain year.

Rudy is a total joke. And to think that is the best the Repubs have to offer for '08?

He's doing what every other candidate does -
making promises he won't keep.
He should start making a list of excuses, just in case.

No, he won't commit to something that's already ongoing, just wants to add new ones, I suppose.
