I don't mean stuff like Christianity or Hinduism. I mean denominations like Catholic or Mormon or Sunni.

Yeah, about 60% of the world's Christians is Catholic.

Also interesting, within twenty years or so only 1 out of 5 Christians will be white and from the Americas or Europe. The new stronghold of Christianity will become Africa and Asia.

The Catholic Church claims over 1.2 billion members. Next in line is perhaps the Russian Orthodox Church with over 100 million.

You mean Roman Catholic Church (RCC); For catholic by itself (sometimes with a small c) simply means universal. The RCC is in over 60 countries, as are USA troops in over 60 countries.

Holy Bible compares only two religions:
- IMPure Religion: Law (Galatians)
- Pure Religion: Grace (James 1:27)

The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.

Yep, single biggest "Christian" religion without a doubt.

Probably followed by the "loosely" defined Baptists

Then the Lutherans

Methodists (President Bush's religion) are very small by comparison world wide.

Dont know,we know christianity is the biggests and i think over half of christians are catholic.

There still might be more buddists,i doubt the muslim split is 50/50 so one of their denominations might be bigger if the split is 80/20 or something like that.

The Catholic Church is NOT a denomination. It is THE Church.

I beg to differ with you, friend....I was raised in catholicism....and am NOW a Christian...they are worlds apart! catholicism teaches traditions of MAN, Christianity teaches you how to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, NOT Mary, the pope, the sacraments, indulgences, purgatory, dead saints, the rosary, etc etc.....catholics are not Biblical Christians!!!
