According to some forms of Protestant Christianity, yes. According to Catholicism and Orthodoxy, no. As James writes, "Even the demons believe" (James 2:19).

Someone was whistling Dixie to You Dear. >>>>>In God's Word Jesus Himself said: Verily, Verily I say unto you, except A Man Be Born Again, He cannot See The Kingdom Of God. > John.3:3 Which means that is the only way We Get To Heaven.
I can not say about Hitler and Jeffrey Dahmer. Jesus says we can tell them by their Fruits (LOVE) > It appeared they were full of Hate!.......................
When we accept Jesus as God, we are confessing Him as God, the Father, God the Son, and God The Holy Spirit. He always Has been, Always will be. I Hope I answered Your question to your satisfaction.(smile)

Satan even believes in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit= and he is not going to be in heaven ever again- so no-
To go to heaven- you have to confess your sin, and repent- which means turn from your sin- accept Christ as payment for your sin. He died on the cross and payed the price that we could never pay. It is confessing with our heart and mouth that Jesus saves is the only way to heaven. I believed in Jesus from the time I could walk- however if I had died before I was 17 I would have not been in heaven, because I did not ask Christ to be my Savior and Lord.

No, that is not true. Even Satan believes in the Son and the Father and the Holy Spirit.
You need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. And part of accepting Him is that you follow His teachings, repent from your sins, ask forgiveness and spread the gospel. : )

No. That's a common misconception. In Acts 2:38 we are told that we must 1) repent 2) be baptized in the name of JESUS CHRIST and 3) receive the Holy Ghost. So many will be lost because of this I fear. We must also live for Him. I don't think bikinis and shorts and swearing and drinking glorify Him.

While Hitler and Dahmer might have believed in all three, they still need/ed to follow Xian beliefs like not to kill people just for the heck of it.
P.S. -- About Hitler, in Genesis God said to Abram -- later Abraham -- "I will bless those who bless you,
and I will curse him who curses you." That's not just Abram that all of his descendents, meaning the Jews.

You have to atone for sins. Belief really has nothing to do with it.
Basically to try to relate it to something... the law. You don't simply be "aware" of the law, you have to be aware and keep it.
A criminal cannot go into court and say, "But I believed in the law! I believed that murder was wrong!"
Well that doesn't stop you from committing murder does it? You have to live according to the law to keep from being condemned. In the same way belief is really nothing. Atonement for sins is the key.

The bible says that even the demons believe, so that is not all that is required. To accept Jesus as savior, one must realize they are a sinner and need salvation. You also have to repent of sin, and accept Jesus as your savior.
If anyone, no matter how great their sin has been, truly repents of that sin and accepts Christ, yes, they will be saved. But please remember, only God knows if a heart is truly repentant; we cannot be the judge of that.
