I am taking care of my friend's fishes, until the time she gets back from NC, and she told me that they need to be fed 3x a day. However, the food flakes just lay on the bottom of the tank, and it results in filth. Do you think, i should just feed them 1x a day instead?? Do you think they would die?? Any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hence 'Xmas' is indeed perfectly legitimate abbreviation for the word 'Christmas' (just as 'Xian' is also sometimes used as an abbreviation of the word 'Christian').

its not a Modern term for chritmas its been used since the begining of christianity, we might as well say using the word Jesus is disrespectful for Jesus was called Yeshua

Should there be term limits on members of congress?

There are congressmen and senators that have been in Washington for 40 years or more. They are completely out of touch with Americans. Senators were supposed to be appointed by governors, meaning they would be out every time a new governor was elected, and congressmen were supposed to leave their hometown for 2-4 years to REPRESENT in DC, then go home.

What happened? Would we be better off with term limits? Are these people completely out of touch?

What computer symptoms do I look for when a power surge happens? When do power surges happen?

My computer will not turn on... The power went out this afternoon and my computer is the only thing in the house effected, besides all the clocks being reset. My laptop still works, but it wasn't plugged in to the outlet. I also have a plasma in the same room as the computer, but it is uneffected as well. Any ideas?

Should people with medicaid prescription coverage be required to pay their copays?

I was in the pharmacy the other day behind a woman giving the technician a hard time because she did not want to pay her medicaid copay. There was no need for this spectacle because the technician obliged and "waived" the copay. This is the only insurance where this can be done in NYS. I just feel that by the government allowing these copays to be waived, they are teaching people to manipulate, take advantage, and not manage their money. Granted, some people truly don't have the 50 cents, but many do and choose to squander it on others things.

No "evidence" of God?

If "God" (whatever that actually means) created the universe, then it and all the laws by which it operates are His Will. So what exactly do people mean when they say they see "no evidence for God" ? What kind of evidence are they expecting to find? Supernatural miracles? That makes no sense. It would imply that God created the universe and the natural laws in an imperfect way and so must keep himself busy tampering with his creation to keep it running smoothly. Clearly that makes no sense. When you look for "proof" of this type you are looking for proof of an imperfect incompetent God....no wonder you will never find it.

Is this too much to ask for a vacation?

my dad, who refuses to go on any vacations, said that a week and a half vacation in florida is "a waste of money ." So my mom decided to plan a "tennis" vacation in New York during the Us Open for one week. Also, we planned to see two exhibition matches before that. Since my brother and I are tournament players, I thought this vacation would be productive in that we could observe and learn from the pros and have a good time at the same time. My dad was mad because the grand total for everything(food, tickets, hotel, airfare, etc) would come out to be about $4,500(he says he can affordit without worry). That sounds like a lot, but this would be the only vacation for the year for my mom, brother and me. I have been busy with school work,+ extracurriculars all year, , so I thought going somewhere else for only 9 days would be reasonable, . I know there are people who don't go on vacations and that "money doesn't grow on trees," but just considering the vacation itself, is it reasonable
