Women make all kinds of generalizations and insulting remarks toward men and most of us keep our cool. So why is it that any time you make a generalization about women (which has some truth like most generalizations) they go crazy with anger? Why can't women take criticism? You women are FAR from perfect so why are you so defensive?

Part of equality is being able to roll with the punches ladies :)

Live in Cincinnati,OH,pets have fleas.Neither frontline or advantix have worked.Have removed carpet and bombed house.Concerned fleas will come back.Anyone know of a tried and true method of flea control for pets other than the above mentioned bunk remedies.Kind regards.

You won't know what its like to be a teenager because things were different in the stone age when you were at school. You won't have faced the pressures they face.

Every generation has pressures. Fashions change but people never do and before you say that twenty years is a long time .... not when you're on our end of it it's not.

I don't have children but each of my nieces and nephews have said these things to me and their parents.

We had the pressures of drugs and sex too you know ... I kept well away from them, I didn't even smoke (and still don't, nor drink) but I knew people who did and got themselves into so much trouble.

That's what your parents are trying to keep you from when they lay down rules and hopefully, you'll do the same for your children.

I still have no idea why their is a war going on with Iraq? I heard from other people that it was for the oil is this true?

In my Opinion Bush should just stop this war too many troops are be sending away and apart from their family and for what? I hate it how we all americans want to win eerything. I think Bush doesen't want to end this war because then he would be losing. And these trips that hes making to Africa and all those things i think hes just doing that so he can win the election again. I mean yeah Africa needs the support but how about the Iraq's? Probably by now people are dieing out there in Iraq and bush is not doing anything!

If there is no God and he has no edicts than what happens when two Atheist get into a moral argument i.e. "stealing is wrong". How do they determine who is Right and Wrong if there is no God? Do Atheist believe in right and wrong?

I need a name for our daughter (due in August) that is not extremely common. We like modern names nothing old fashioned, but nothing too odd either. Preferably something classy sounding. It also needs to be a name that can grow with her-something that won't sound childish when she's 30. We are having a hard time agreeing on a name (even though we know what type of name we want). I got a spare 21" CRT monitor from my landlord, and it worked great, but then the next day I was messing with the OSD's settings and saw one called "Quality". Not knowing what it was, I decided to see what it did. I turned it down some and the display started to turn more and more snowy. That's when the status light in the corner (where it is normally either green for OK or amber for No Signal) turned magenta, or red. I decided to leave it unplugged for a week and see if it reverted to factory default settings. I just plugged it in and it didn't.

But one thing that worries me about it is that the OSD doesn't even come up now. I really hope I didn't fry this monitor 24 hours after I got it. But now I'm starting to think maybe I did :(

Has anyone ever heard of the magenta light on a CRT? I haven't been able to find anything about it on the web, and a friend said that in his experience magenta means "input out of range" but I'm starting to think it means "BROKEN".

asked her to report to the police station and has the right to show or not show. My sister showed up and talked with the detective. My cousin is charged with 1 charge Class C Felony for it being a little over 1000.00. The detective he talked to said there shouldnt be much to worry about since my sister was coopertive and was willing admitted to what she did and the detective also said he'll put in a good word for him since she has a clean record. I was just wondering does she really have nothing to worry about other than probation or will she have a greater sentence? we live in Arkansas

my phone will turn on but it wont let me send or recieve text messages call or recieve calls. Earlier this year I got faced with living on my own and without a partner for the first time in my life (I am 27). I do not take it as loneliness, it is a gift because I have issues from the past I need to solve and learn how to live with in order to be able to lead a happy life and then get into a reelationship with someoen who will be worth my love. In any event, I am spending a part of my summer vacation with my parents back home and I am facing some painful days but also knowing i am exactly where I need to be. Ive realized that I have big issues with my parents. My father is extremely dominant but a good person and that contrast used to confuse me as a kid because I thought that his behaviour is justified just because he has a good and honest heart. The last episode of season four, when they have the huge party for the upcoming seniors and the graduating seniors and it was so sad that I cried and I can't believe Dan tried to hang himself!
