C i would stay knowing i am getting laid off then when it happens collect unemployment until you get something else going but i would look for something that you really wanted to do

I would stick around, incase I was one of those who got to stay. But I'd only do that if I'd worked there for a long time. If I was fairly new, I'd probably make plans to move on. If I did get cut, at least I would be qualified to draw a little unemployment until I found something else, if I'd stayed and hoped for the best and didn't get the best, that is.

I would stay there and hope for the best, but on the side start looking for a new job in case I was to be laid off.

I was the first employee they hired and without patting myself on the back I have handled almost all of the positions in the company at one time or another. I would stay, but send out resumes just in case.

I am facing the same problem. Work many years at my place of employment. I am going to ride it out.
Reasons being if they let you go unemployment benefits, your retirement or 401k they might make a deal with you, and also possible severence pay.

Usually the expendable ones a the first to go, so you may be leaving whether you like it or not.

stay there and hope for the best but i would be looking for employment elsewhere incase i did get cut. good luck.

it depends on how old you are. if you are young, just leave. if you are older i would work my butt off and make sure the ones doing the cutting knows im one of the people they cant let go. do your best and go out of your way as much as possible
