Women make all kinds of generalizations and insulting remarks toward men and most of us keep our cool. So why is it that any time you make a generalization about women (which has some truth like most generalizations) they go crazy with anger? Why can't women take criticism? You women are FAR from perfect so why are you so defensive?
Part of equality is being able to roll with the punches ladies :)

Well, this question is not really a generalization since I'm going off of the responses I get from questions I've asked here. And so far everyone is just proving that my generalizations are correct.

The fact that they (only some) perceive themselves to be the poor and downthrodden group constantly undermined and undervalued by biased men, which may or may really really.... not be the case.

I wonder why it is necessary to judge anyone. However, I admit to judging some folks. I doubt if women feel they are without fault. Most derogatory remarks which are directed at an individual or group of individuals are the response from those critics because they are feeling threatened in some manner. When I think of all the negative and insulting references applied to females by males, I realize how threatened males feel when a female has equal or better success when participating in areas that were formerly male dominated. It is seen as a loss of power. Oh well guys, get used to it.

Everyone judges everyone else no matter how PC the world has become. Oh and speaking of generalizations, I believe that your own question is rift with it because I have known plenty of "men" who go crazy when someone generalizes and makes comments about "all men" doing something.

I wish I knew what generalizations you were talking about. I can identify when they are true/accurate, and when they are BS. Although, I can honestly say, I have NEVER gone crazy with anger over any generalization made. I am a blonde, so I hear alot of "you must be dumb," etc. I def. roll with the punches.
BUCKETHEAD: It would be totally rude for you to tell ANYONE that he/she is lazy about his appearance. What's it to you? Live and let live man.
AND, just because a woman doesn't wear makeup doesn't mean she is ugly....and just because a person is overweight doesn't make them lazy. They might actually be working on losing the poounds.

Its taboo to judge anyone. I am sure no father likes to be called a "sperm donor" just as a woman would not like to be called "a baby incubator". Name calling does nothing to me because it shows ignorance. Why would I care what an uneducated person called me anyway?

I don't think there is anyone who should judge anyone else, man or woman. All of us are FAR from perfect.
