my phone will turn on but it wont let me send or recieve text messages call or recieve calls. It had been roming 4 two days so i did the *288 or sumthing like that so could reprogram my phone or update it sumthing like that and its been a day and it still wont work. Is it fixable or do i need a new phone?

If the *228 did not work then you should take it into the nearest full service Verizon store and let the technician look at it. There is usually on there. Is it still under warranty? They will ask you that.

A problem like this could be a multitude of things. One of the first things to try is to switch your sim card into a different handset and see if the problem still occurs. If it does are you always in a similar location when it manifests. It could be a network issue and for some reason location update requests are not going through as they should be or congestion causing the issue. What handset are you using and which network?

I would contact Verizon Customer Care to see what the problem is. Usually there might be a problem with your account status and that may be why your phone is non working.

well the thing that could be wrong is that your out of service
