I still have no idea why their is a war going on with Iraq? I heard from other people that it was for the oil is this true?

In my Opinion Bush should just stop this war too many troops are be sending away and apart from their family and for what? I hate it how we all americans want to win eerything. I think Bush doesen't want to end this war because then he would be losing. And these trips that hes making to Africa and all those things i think hes just doing that so he can win the election again. I mean yeah Africa needs the support but how about the Iraq's? Probably by now people are dieing out there in Iraq and bush is not doing anything!

Please tell me your opinion and answer the question please :]

To tap oil resources, to dominate China and the world, to show that despite the fact that US robbed its citizen of over one trillion, their arrogance is still like it was during Cold War.

Just like all the other evil plans that have been implemented by this administration there are many levels to it other than the public proclamations.
1) Control of the oil. To cut it off to increase prices and profits for the Bushes oil interests. This was also punative as Sudam had the shear intestinal fortitude to start trading his oil in Euro's
2) To destroy the only modern country in the area that was a bump in the road to empire the PNAC boys planed.
3) To be able to reward friends and special interests with "no bid contracts"
4) To establish forward bases for further excursions in the area.
5) To destroy our economy to be able to jam the North American Union down our throats as our saviors.
6) To establish the US as the enforcement arm of the new world order. Soon to be merged into the UN.
The list goes on! As you can see nothing is simple and this is deliberate to confuse us so we have great difficulty figuring it out.

I guess he doesn't know the difference between Pakistan (where Osama supposedly fled) and Iraq.

But oops...wait...they had unmitigated PROOF Iraq had weapons of mass destruction....sorry...no time to wait for the United Nations to resolve this...HI HO SILVER....attack!!!

Don't you find it funny that Senior Bush was meeting with the Bin Ladens when 9/11 occurred? First thing he does (after grounding all planes....is fly the BIN LADENS out of America....hmmm....yeah, that would be my first priority too.

Don't bother calling the military back from their "practice drill" (funny a practice drill regarding the twin towers being attacked on the very same day they WERE!!!....poor saps couldn't even tell what was real and what wasnt)...where were all the military planes from the country with the greatest military fleet in the world!") Stand down, stand down...just a practice....

You know what you can do with that finger blazer...

Bush decided to wage his ILLEGAL ,lie based war against Iraq for the same reason the US and other western countries have for over a hundred years used/abused and committed atrocities against the Arabs/Muslims and that is to protect America's "National Interests" (READ "PROFITS") .

It is, was and has always been all about OIL.

It had/has absolutely nothing to do with bringing "freedom and democracy" to Iraq .For over a hundred years the US has done everything it can to destroy democracy in the Middle East (The overthrow of the democratically elected government in 1953 as an example) .It has and continues to politically, militarily and economically fully support vile right wing dictatorships from Saudi Arabia to Egypt .From 1979 to 1990,the US fully supported the vile butchering Saddam knowing fulkl well he has committed crimes againsty humanity.

The US history shows it simply does not give a damnb for the peoples of the region and will sacrifice them in a heart beat for it's National Interests. This is NOT an opinion.IT IS FACT supported by the historical record.

After 9/11 Bush et al became very concerned because most of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia and with it's radical Islamic fundamentalists well in control of the Saudi people,Bush was and remains fearful that Saudi Arabia will one day implode like Iran did in 1979.

Given this ,warring with and invading Iran and gaining control of that country and it's oil was and is seen as a hedge against an implosion of Saudi Arabia which with it's Islamic fundamentalists so hateful of the US could very well cut off oil to the US.

Additionally, the infamous neo-cons surrounding Bush urged him to wage war .The interests of these neo-cons was/is primarily Israel (not oil). The FATHER of neo-conservatism is a rabid Zionist called Billy Crystal and two of his most avid acolytes were/are Pearl and Wolfawitz (sic) who are well known for their high profile in urging Bush to go to war.

All of these extremely dangerous neo-cons are rabid Zionists with extremely close ties with the powerful right wing ruling Likud party of Israel.(This is NOT "anti-semitism" but it is certainly " anti-zionism")

Bush doesn't want to end the war simply because to do so would be to admit he made a horribly wrong decision which has resulted in the slaughter of over 3000 US soldiers and over 400,000 INNOCENT IRAQI MEN,WOMEN,AND CHILDREN.Even Saddam if he was alive today would admit that Bush has caused the slaughter of more humans than he ever did.

Never mind.Bush is a good little Christian who tells us that Christ and God have sanctioned his illegal war evewnthough virtually all the mainstream Christian Churches including his own Methodist Church has condemned the war as a Christian moral obscenity.

To start a Global American Empire, to control the currency of the world for the oil. Look up: Project For A New American Century, the road map, for false flag operation 0n 911, the new Pearl Harbor. Look who benefits, who profits who makes gains. Bush and Cheney are the new Dictators of this country, be careful what you say or write they will see and hear, and you will get to try out the new detention centers being built all over the USA, THE NEW BABYLON.

Are you not old enough to learn history or current events in school? If you were you would have learned that Saddam got greedy and invaded Kuwait, so the coalitions pushed Saddam back to Baghdad. Then it got out that Saddam was killing, torturing those that didn't think his party way. He also had an issue with the Kurds and villages of them. There have been mass graves found all over. He was also creating WMD. Clinton wanted to do an regime change, but the liar who couldn't keep it in his pants was too tied up with lawyers to effectively do anything to protect this country, but hey he had a great time. Now if Iraq is unstable and a threat to the rest of the middle east then the stability of the middle east is at threat. Saddam wanted to control all the oil and possibly raise the prices up to $300 a barrel which would destroy western economies. So if you want to go to that level of belief we are there to keep stability in the middle east and help the new Iraq develop into a peaceful productive country that will work with the world economy and not want to control or destroy it.

The Bush administration was filled with ex PNAC members who wanted to invade Iraq as early as the late nineties in a strategy to show American force. It's all on their website.

When 9/11 happened this NEOCON think thank unleashed all its evil plans that were already prepared including the patriot act, wire tapping of American citizens and the Iraq war

In discussing the threat posed by Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, Bush said: "After all, this is the guy who tried to kill my dad."

To take the focus of the Bin Ladens and his Oil Money. Threw Sadam in our face and made us focus on him. He had most of us fooled that's why he was voted in for a second term.
