I don't follow Michael Moore. However, I am willing to listen to various points of view, including his, before I make a decision. Convince me otherwise.

The electoral weight of Cuban exiles in Florida.It is believed you can not win the presidency without their support.That's the only reason.China has a far more totalitarian and oppressive regime as Cuba certainly where Christians are concerned.

China gives us $39 DVD players and Cuba won't even give us a good 5 cent cigar - and we all know that's what this country needs.

If we did it would cause the earth to tilt on its axis causing another ice age. Our government has its reasons but it's a matter of national security so they won't tell us. Lastly, Cuban cigars remind republicans too much of Clinton.

Simple answer : because the U.S.A. does not want Cuba to succeed, it is trying to crush it's economy so that they can steal back the land that Castro gave to the poor Cubans.
