If you're number 28 you win the points! Post what you want but make sure it has clean language (not even the $ or *) and no gross, sick stuff. Okay, good luck :)

Sorry if you saw this in singles, but wondered about the maturity of the group in general.. (not those who answered). Just recently divorced, and wondering if there is hope for me somewhere… NOT looking to meet a guy online, but asking a general question of you men… would you consider dating someone like me (i.e. is there hope?)
Good – I’m attractive – long blonde hair (mid-back), blue, fair complexion, not skinny, but not plump.. LOL.. 30, told I have a smile that lights up the world and love to flash it often.. love life, look at bright side of life, absolutely content in the garden watching butterflies, listening to wind in the trees, hikes, camping, am Native American, though I don’t appear so, but love my culture – pow wow’s, gatherings, etc. Do believe in God and talk with him daily, but do not attend church often, great cook, elementary school teacher, provide for myself = have a home and a nice car, love my independence. Poverty's poet

My stare is without solace
passion and joy have wane

My eye's now fail to weep
deaf ear's hear my cries

insatiable famishment waits for me
my anger is without desire

upon what pillowy cloud shall I rest?
for the harbinger is near to me

bitter is the morsel of my imminent fate
will you embolden me to fight on?

where are the spoils of your riches?
alone with selfish excess shall you pass

my soul now shivers and trembles
for poverty has claimed it shield.

What's the difference between a, megalomaniac and someone that has just more experience in a subject. For example; if someone has been in a long term relationship and knows how hard they are, and doesn't want to get in one with someone else, and that person doesn't understand, couldn't they be construde as being a megalomaniac. Since the person who doesn't want to be in the relationship might say something like, 'Oh, you just don't understand, you haven't been there.' Would that be considered a megalomanic. (This situation is fictional and only an example. I'm just trying to understand what a megalomaniac is.)

I met this girl in vagas and have since moved to to her home state to be with her. We have had two beutiful boys in the past two years and I love them more with each passing day . My question is should I stay in this state, which I can't stand, And in this dead end relationship which seems to have no chance from either side. Keep in mind that I'm in my upper 30's and have to make the right decision soon. Life is too short. Right???

My Matron of Honor and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember (we are 1st cousins as well) but we are very different. Honestly, we are about as opposite as two people can get. I was her Maid of Honor is her wedding so it has always been assumed that she would be the Matron of Honor in mine. Well, now we live in different towns, we hardly ever talk anymore, she is pregnate with her first child (it will be born 6 months before my wedding) and she is totally uninterested in my wedding at all. She is not what you would call a very happy person. Every time I bring up anything about the wedding she totally does not respond or she changes the subject. I really haven't asked her to be my Matron of Honor, but like I said, it has always been implied and I was her Maid of Honor. But I am starting to not want her to be. I feel that my Matron/Maid of Honor should be excited for me and willing to help me plan or at least be a little interested. What should I do?

My husband is almost 53 and I am 45. After 35 years on the same job he is about to receive a "buyout" to retire early. We are selling our 2 Tri-plex rental properties that we have taken care of as our future nest egg for the past 22 years as well as our home that we custom design/built in 1992. California is too hot, dry, and the stress level of the "life in the fast lane" of the SF Bay Area has really gotten to us. We want cash out, sell everything, and move to Oregon and be retired. But where? We love trees, lakes, fishing and have just started to take up golf and tennis. We have 1 Jr. College age son and 1 High School Freshman daughter. (Our older daughter is already living on her own and in her senior year of college in California). Oregon seems to be much more affordable and more low key with less stress. Any suggestions?

I have three different credit cards, all in good standing, and all with excellent payment history. A Bank of America Gold card, an American Express Clear, and a Chase Visa. I've had the Bank of America Gold the longest, since sometime around June of 2005 I guess (Bank of America is also the bank I use). It started as a $500 limit secured card (where you give them $99 to deposit in a safe account for a year, and they give it back if you do well). I made multiple payments some months...so much that they made it a regular credit card in 10 months instead of 12 and I got the money back early. The bank lady had never seen that before. Now I have a $5,000 credit limit on it, and almost no balance. The only drawback is a $29 annual fee. I think this is only the second time I've paid it (for the month of June) since I've had the card, just to keep the history and credit limit going for almost another year.

Hi guys,

I just moved in to a house (will only be here a year) but my room is pretty small. Heck, perhaps I would consider it tiny.

It should be around 100 sq ft.

I have a Full Bed, and am planning to purchase a new desk.

Are there any ideas as to what I could do to make the room look a tad more spacious and at the same time a contemporary yet clean bedroom that will also serve as a study area.

I really enjoy black and white photography, but I don't know how frames on the wall will make my room look more spacious.
