Someone answered my previous question in a way similar to this:
I should do bicep curls with the amount of weight I can handle for no more than 6 repetitions. With that, i should do 4 sets of 5-6 reps. This way my biceps will get bigger.
OR, he/she said, if I want to get cuts on my biceps, I should get enough weight to handle it for 15 reps, and do 5-6 sets of 12-15 reps...
He/she said this applies not just to biceps, but any muscle in the body.
I do want to gain weight, but I want to confirm that what he said was actually true. If it's true, I will probably want to get bulkier and follow the first strategy. But I have a feeling that doing less (only 6 reps per set) will not make me as tired, and not fill my satisfaction (i can get no, lol)..
Also, getting the biceps bigger or getting them cut will still make them stronger either way, right?
Thanks in advance.
