it's pretty amazing how he seems to forget that he made the last out of the 1968 World Series by popping out to Bill Freehan, hence giving The Tigers the World Series Championship (after being down 3 games to 1).

What is the process of moving to Canada, my fiance and I are thinking about it. We are both educated, skilled workers with degrees, we are just fed up with America. If you have any experience with the process of relocating to Canada please give me some details. Thanks!

Last summer I ran everyday, alone, and I loved it.

I sort of fell off the wagon this year. I could say it's because i had a busy year at school but that's really a bad exscuse.

Anyway, I'm going out running now and my endurance.. wow it's down to 12 minutes. Horrid I know. I am watchign my pace though, I'm famous for going out too fast.
Running has always been a mental game for me but last summer I was pounding the pavement and loving it. Now it's blah.

Basically I have the initiative, I'm training for university tryouts, but I absolutely dread running now!! It used to be fun, it's not anymore.

How do you pick yourself up from a rut like this? And how do you watch your pace?
I avoid running with groups at all costs, I'm to competitive and it turns to a race and me getting frustrated.

Hello all. My 2 year old sister was "diagnosed" with Rotavirus about 2 1/2 months ago. It seemed strange to me, I am a medical student and thought it odd. She had no diarrhea, one of the huge factors in diagnosing Rotavirus. She has been vomiting on and off for all of that 2 and a half months. The pediatrician says it's still Rotavirus. And still there is no diarrhea or fever. I thought it may be Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome but where she is only 2 the doctors refuse to believe that's what it is. Any ideas? Anyone had anything similar?! Thank You!

About 4 or 5 months ago, my wife and I got a dog from the pound. He's a happy, good dog with a pleasant disposition. Doesn't bark much, has a lot of energy, and is extremely loving.
And at first, he and I got along great. But then he started peeing and pooping in the house, and I disciplined him harshly (but not any more than I punished our black lab that we raised froma puppy, who is now 8 months old and has perfect behavior). It was my mistake to presume I could punish the new dog (Freeman), who had come from a pound after being seized from a home, the same as I punished my lab for bad behavior. Now, Freeman is terrified of me. When I come near him, he lays down and submissively pees all over the place, and sometimes he yelps as if I'm going to beat him to death or something. He will not ever approach me. He stays glued to my wife's side, and will not leave her sight. If he's left alone with me, he yelps. If she's not home, he hides on the side of the house all day. What can I do???

I did some simple math and it looks like it would take me 8 years to break even on fuel costs for a honda civic sedan vs. a honda civic hybrid. Here are some of my facts: HC hy: $22,600; average mpg: 50mpg; annual fuel cost @ 15,000 miles per year: 900 bucks. honda civic 5 speed auto tranny: $19,500; average mpg: 35 mpg; annual fuel cost $1286. Cost difference $3,100. Fuel savings per year with the hybrid: $386. $3100/386=8 years. Why should I buy a hybrid and not the regular 4 cyl car? Oh I forgot to mention this is at 3 dollar gas prices. Oh and I don't really think that driving a hybrid is saving the earth. Help me out.

I'm interested in getting a different car because the car I have now doesn't suit my needs. The thing is, one of the cars I'm looking at at a dealership costs about a thousand less than the trade-in value of my car. Is my only other option selling it private party to not lose a lot of money?

Marriage were arranged. If he was Jewish he would have most likely been married by the age of 13. People didn't grow up and fall in love and get married. That wasn't the way the culture or religion worked. I'm not saying he was married or not though I believe he was. I just don't understand why people are saying he would have had a choice. He was Jewish.
