Yes he was was a bit touched in the head, but he advanced science and civilization as few in history ever have. Your life and the lives of EVERYONE on earth have been improved because of Tesla. How many people can you say that about?
Thome Edisson, and Socrates are two other who would rank as high as Tesla in my opinion. Few others would.

Anyone who has studied physics knows Tesla.
Brilliant and defintely misunderstood.
Check out his research into the "negative resistor" some time.

The man was decades ahead of his time in imagination, much like DaVinci was in his time.
In fact, there has remained a type of "urban legend" about this man. Were his experiments responsible for our governments trials ( denied of course ) for tele-transportation, as in the movie, The Philadelphia Experiment ( I believe that was the name. )
