It seems that most of my sadness is caused by not receiving what I desire. I am causing my own sadness. If I just took life as it comes and accepted the way life is I would be happier.

I agree. We set ourselves up for the biggest disappointments. If we set our goals and expectations a little lower, we might not be so disappointed when things don't work out.

v would have no sorrows if only v were content...
but v have greater xpectations....v are never sattisfied.dats normal human nature....
