My co-worker is always very sexual natured in her conversations. I would like to avoid her but thats impossible.

Its quiet most of the time b/c we work the night shift and converstations are good but...

she talks about how much her husband likes it when they use handcuffs and about what turns her on...( I won't say exactly all of what she says, its just too disturbing )..and about which porn shops creep her out and which one is the best to go to at night and in the morning ( when she gets off from work )..ewww...

ALSO..she is constantly talking about her weight loss. She repeats all of the little "cute things" her husband says...I'M TIRED AND I DO NOTCARE I DON'T KNOW ANYONE WHO DOES!! I think she exaggerates to make her self feel good.

I'm a cna and she is the charge nurse. I like talking to her but its hard to change the subject when her mind goes down the gutter. I don't want to be rude seeing that most of the time I have to be insubordinate to her. HELP ME PL

I've answered only a handful of Immigration questions of late because I believe this bill has about 0% chance of passing . Hence a moot point . And even with the new additions it has about a 0% chance of passing . Personally , I believe the notion was floated in a clever political move . Prior to this bill , America was divided . Some wanted amnesty , some wanted strict enforcement and fences , and others were somewhere in between . 3 separate factions . But just take one look around . The vast majority of Americans oppose the new bill . Therefore we have united in a rather ironic way . Both Dems and Reps .
The bill will not pass .
A few of you know what I think will happen next , but I'll save that for now and just listen to your opinions .But if I'm right , we'll know in a few weeks about the 'next step' I see coming .

I think most of the immigration debate is a charade or even a trial balloon .. . . .. . What Do You Think ?

One of my house mates has a kitten, and made the mistake of leaving a candle burning while he fell asleep (Yes *I* know silly that was, but he said that he had just fallen asleep, and that's why the candle was still burning). In any case, his 9 week old kitten managed to knock the candle down and get himself absolutely Coated in the melted candle wax.

My house mate came and woke me up at 7am, when this happened, and I checked the kitten out. He's in no pain, no sign burns, not in shock, pulse seems normal... However, his fur is coated in wax. The candle was one of those big jar, scented candles, so it was semi-soft wax, not the hard wax.

I've told him to try using ice cubes to harden the wax up, then break it off; to try the hairdryer set on warm, with a cloth on the kitten to absorb the wax; to try warm as possible water; and also to try a petroleum based product such as mineral oil/baby oil, to try to dissolve at least some components of the wax.

Any other suggestions?

No, they suggested a few categories, but the dot landed on polls & surveys, since this where I was when I asked.

Honestly, how someone that nasty and hateful can claim to be religious is beyond me. Then again, some of the nastiest people I have meant in life claim to be 'devout christians'. What are your opinions?

*Not intended to mean all Christians. I have meant some very nice and loving Christian people who truly live by example. It's depressing that they seem to be few and far between*

If he has any shred of democracy, our new Prime Minister should call an immediate general election, or certainly within 6 months. I think it should be a constitutional convention that a new Prime Minister appointed within a parliament should go to the country within 6 months, otherwise it is not democratic.

does religion have something to do with this, if so, does one religion have a harder time than the others with it?

I love plants/flowers but I can't keep them alive.

What are some good plants that need little to no sunlight? Indoor plant that my cat won't eat. That might be my bigest problem she eats every plant I bring home.

What are some plants/flowers that need lots of light?

And if you can give me tips on plant/flower care for each plant/flower you give.

Recently, I answered a homeschooling question indicating that I thought it had problems. I received 11 negative responses and not one positive one. Don't you think that, in most (but not all) cases, a child is far better off by going to a regular school for the following reasons?

1. Teaching is a difficult skill that takes years to learn. Who's to say that the homeschool teacher (usually mom) knows what she's doing?

2. Isn't it vitally important in a child's development to learn how to socialize with other children? I believe that alot of kids who are home schooled are isolated by their parents, usualy for the reason that they don't want their kid exposed to certain ideas (ie evolution).

3. Doesn't a school setting protect the child by having another set of eyes on them? How many times do you read that a teacher was the one who alerted authorities to abuse?

4. Isn't it important to know how a child is performing as compared to others?

Sometimes when you first meet someone you usually either like them or not without any particular reason. Also, some people you've gotten to know, but again for no apparent reason, you just dont like them.. and vice versa.. some people you just can't help liking, regardless of personality etc. Why is that?
