We know Cristopher Columbus, but now we hear about the Vikings (Vinland map and artefact findings) in 1000 something, the Chinese Admiral Zheng He with his treasure fleet (South America) 75 years before Columbus, and even some rumors about Solomon who would have sent an expedition to America 1000 years before Christ!! Should any kind of publisher ask for money from you before publishing your work?I've been on the internet and have find that a lot of these places ask for money.I'm just tryin' to get a short story out there and HOPEFULLY, some how, make some small amount of change out of it...If I'm lucky!But its so damn hard.Especially for short stories.You can't find anyone out there.Or real places out there.

Last night, My grandparents and me were watching TV and there was some curvier women on the TV. And my grandpa says "They would be pretty if they lost about 150 pounds." I thought that was a sexist man thing to say. I was hurt by that. I am a little on the curve side but I have always been happy with my self. My grandparents were both married before but they never had kids together. So grandpa has his kids and my grandma has hers. (I'm from my grandma side) My grandpa's daughter and granddaughters are thinner than me. I think that he loves them differently than he loves me. And it shows during the holidays when they are home. He is too stuck in his way to change his mind. Should I tell him how that makes me feel when he says things like that? HELP!!!

First of all, to make things perfectly clear, I am a Christian.
Second, I would prefer for ONLY Christians to answer this question, unless a person can answer according to Christianity, using scripture to support their opinion.
Third, this is inspired in part by an answer to a question about masturbation (I'll post the link in an added comment).
So my question is this:
Just supposing when my husband goes to Iraq (which will be later this year, for 15 months), I have a need to relieve some sexual pressure while fantasizing about him, would that be a sin? What about if after he's talked to me on the phone, or I've sent him non-pornographic pictures (they're not allowed to have pornography) HE feels the need to relieve himself? Is it a sin? Does that constitute sexual impurity?
Furthermore, what about when he and I haven't had relations for awhile? Would it be a sin?
I don't believe so, but I'd like to make sure I'm not wrong.

i dunno whther this will be able to help out global warming and it is kind of scientific fantasy so....
what if somehow you could get all the carbon dioxide in one place (letting lime, calcium oxide. to abosrb it) then to get rid of it, put an animatter container in the middle of the limestone (once the carbon dioxide reacts with the lime it forms calcium carbonate) an letting it annihalate. this could rid of enormous amounts and releases no form of radiation but you would first have to find lime and it might be expensive to make so much antimatter.
what are your views people? could it work?

I don't find anyone attractive any more. I have been hurt by all the guys I have been with and getting hurt now from the one I married. I have been trying to look but I don't find anyone attractive. My dog Brownie hurt her hind leg several months ago, and was well on her way to being healed, then suffered a set back she has to be confined most of the time, and healing can take up to a year according to the experts, I beleive in the power of prayer and would love for other beleivers to pray and agree with me for her complete and lasting healing. thanks Patf
