lol maggie! The kids wanna go to Disneyland Florida, we're in the UK, so that will be pricey! And I want a decent car, but obviously not a brand new one(yet)! Thanks...

A car probably - then you could probably afford to go on a few long drives! :)

Look, either way you'll regret your decision somewhere down the road...at least with a car you'll have something tangible...with a holiday - all you'd have left are the pictures and a few good memories (and even that's not a given)

You can afford a vacation that costs the same as a car? Holy crap.
How about you take a less expensive vacation and get a less expensive car?
Is that a good compromise?

If you're talking about a BRAND new car, then you can probably afford to do both. If your talking about a new "used" car - then you might still be able to do both if you just take a long weekend holiday...

The car. It will last a lot longer than a vacation!! Plus you could always drive someplace and get away for a weekend....

If it's really a "NEW" car then I would go with that; but if it's just an old junker then I would go on vaca. to Barbatos, Caymen Island or if you just wanna stay in the US...Hawaii is beautiful!

well, if you don't have a car, or your car doesn't run, i'm going to have to go with the car.... a vacation is not a necessity. you can take time off and relax...wash your new car.
