it depends on how many calories a day you need to lose/maintain/gain weight, divide it by 6 and then you can add or take off a little for each meal.
e.g. if i need 1800cal/day to lose weight thats 300cal/meal 6 meals a day. i will have 400cal breakfast and then 200cal snack.

Depending on the amount of weight you are trying to lose, a typical diet is in the 1500-1800 calorie range per day. Try to equally distribute those calories over the course of each day. This will help keep you from getting hungry. Try eating 5-6 300 calorie "meals" each day. That has worked for me for 2 years now. I've lost 60 lbs, and still going strong.

If i were you i would go to the food pyramid the one i put down and see how many calories you should take in and pretty much you can eat as many calories as you would like i mean it does not matter because you probably going to end up with the sam amount!
