my mother said that when she first brought me home from the hospital weird things started to happen, curtains would be ripped of the wall in the middle of night, lights and the tv would turn on and off by themselves things would move, a chair would disasemble itself and the screws woould be standing straight up on their heads when she said out loud that she wanted hated the nails because almost steped on one, nails and screws started appeaing all over the stairs in the same way. she would have nightmares about demons, and my brother who was 10 at the time I was born and he said he saw things during the niight that didn't look human, but all this stuff stoped happenning as soon as I was baptized so my mom thinks a demon was after me or something, so that is my weird story

Well, I prefer to call them spirits.. but, yes I do believe and have had encounters a number of times. On two occasions they have saved my life. Once when my children were young I had pneumonia and 104 temp my grandmother which had died 8 months earlier was sitting on my bed and told me to get up and check on my son. There was a electrical fire that had started in his bedroom and I was able to get everyone out of the house and call the fire department before I collapsed. The second time, I was in the shower and slipped backwards, I would have hit my head on the toilet but I felt two hands on my back and pushed me up and I was able to regain my balance. My youngest son has also seen and had conversations with my grandmother who died a week before he was born. Sprites are all around us it's up to us to notice them and to listen when they are talking (not literally). I have never encountered a bad spirit though I'm sure that they exist, My old house did have spirits that liked to play jokes like turning the TV or lights on and off, or flushing the upstairs toilet when nobody was up there. If you confront them and tell them that you know that they are there and what they are dong they would usually stop. In the place I am living now I have felt the presence of my boyfriends father and have smelled his pipe, but niether of us smoke. Good luck with your spirit... try talking to it and see what happens.

I suffer from sleep paralysis about four times a year. To begin with I would wake up and could not move which I thought was from fear, as I would feel an evil presence in the room and they would come to me in the bed. This would frighten me and I would think I couldn't move. After some time of struggling I would seem to wake completely but i could never tell if it was real or not. I still have the same problem now but never focus on whats going on and focus on trying to move and pay no attention to the presence as it scares the crap out of me.

I did put this all down to a dream that I have when I wake but my body stays sleeping. but when I looked it up I found out it is known in history as the old hag syndrome.
Every site explains the feeling a bit different but all as an evil presence near.

i'm to frightened by it to look into it to deeply but check it out

type in sleep paralysis for the scientific explanation
or old hag syndrome for the old fashioned explanation.

It happens to me
so its frightening

Yes, I believe. Yes, I, and many members of my family, have had experiences with ghosts. My mother prefers we don't talk about it, as she is afraid the experiences will start again, even though they have moved.

Good luck.

The ghost "Lucille" lived in an old house in PA. I knew she was around when the scent of roses and talcum powder would manifest.
