Does Ann Coulter claim to be a Christian?

Question

Honestly, how someone that nasty and hateful can claim to be religious is beyond me. Then again, some of the nastiest people I have meant in life claim to be 'devout christians'. What are your opinions?

*Not intended to mean all Christians. I have meant some very nice and loving Christian people who truly live by example. It's depressing that they seem to be few and far between*

Well she is single, no one special in her life and she is a republican. I think it's more frustation sexually which is causing here nasty personality. I mean if you have been a Virgin all your life like Ann Coulter, wouldn't you be angry at everybody

I suspect most of what she says and does is an act. She knows the cameras love a beautiful blonde and the more outrageous things she says, the more her books sell.

She is no dummy. Get sales up, make more money.

I can't see any one person actually having all those sometime stupid ideas designed to incite controversy.

Anne Coulter is awesome. I don't know if she's a Christian or claims to be one, but she gives back to the liberals and liberterians all the trash they dish out, and they can't take it. It was ok for Bill Maher to shoot his mouth off about VP Cheney back in March and say the nasty thing he did, and all people can cry about is what Anne Coulter said. That kind of hypocrisy is breath-taking and reveals much about where people's "minds" are really at- where the sun doesn't shine.

As a Christian, I can tell you that we are NOT perfect, just because we are Christians does not mean that we are not humans and subject to making mistakes. We just have redemption and forgiveness and endeavor to live better every day.

There are billions and billions of Christians, you are going to find some bad ones in any group. Unfortunately, this is true of us as well.

Study the message, don't follow Men and you will be fine!

As far as what she is? It is really not for me to judge her.

She says she is, and that's between her and God to know for sure. I think, personally, that she makes some good points but that's for another board. However, I was totally turned off at how she presents herself. She is not setting a good christian example with her attitude.

She may be a horrible and disgusting individual who incites hatred on a grand scale, but she is a highly successful capitalist who has found a niche to cultivate in order to make herself both a name and lots of money.

If she does believe in Jesus Christ, she is totally disobedient to his teachings.
She spends her time demeaning anyone who doesn't agree with her religious agenda, such as calling John Edwards a gay. Her only goal in life is trying to influence idolatry, which in her case, is the worship of the republican party.
No one can be a Christian and own her tongue at the same time, it is impossible.

I have to agree with you she is a very poor example of a Christian. What angers me more is why do people buy anything that she writes. She slanders people and says really cruel things and laughs like she is real funny.
I believe if she is from anywhere it is the devil.
