if you get pulled over with passengers and the officer has probably cause to search the VEHICLE (for example he smells marijuana), does that probable cause also apply to searching your person? i.e. your pockets? what about passengers?

I spent the day at my grandma's house today ( my mother's mom ) and she told me I'm just like my mother . . My mom and I don't talk very much . . I don't really know her . She kicked me out of the house when I was 15 turning 16 . . I was a good kid , had good grades , I was respectuful , I helped around the house , I babysat my little sisters and brother , but she always said she hated me . I'm a little worried now that my grandma said that . . because I'm pregnant , and I don't want to be like her! I really don't want to be a bad mom . . . I think I'm over reacting . . but I've been crying ever since I got home !! ( I'm thinking I'm just emotional from the pregnancy though ) but do you think it's something that would get passed on to me ??

I am a male, I'm gay and I have a friend James, who i have been sexual with for a year. He has a gf and has been out as bisexual for the past 9 months. We've had sex, made out, cuddled, and done other sexual acts. However,about a month ago, he came out and said he was gay. A couple weeks before he said he was gay, he kept talking about a kid his age that he knew for a fact was gay and wasnt ready to come out and that he had been the only person this kid had come out to. I suspected that this "kid" he was talking about had to be himself. He also kept asking me stuff like "what if i was gay?" over again. I already suspected he was gay cuz he loves the color hot pink, his favorite movie of all time is brokeback mountain, as well as mean girls, he likes getting his nails done and eyebrows waxed (his gf calls him for fashion advice) Plus girl on girl action grosses him out. A week after he came out, he said he was joking. That he is still bi and the gay kid was me!? Is my friend gay or bi?

My wireless account is with Cingular(AT&T), currently my nokia phone is doing weird stuff (dropping calls, cutting in/out, error message all the time regarding sim card). The answer seems to be a new phone, but I can't get a new one on my account until September. When new model phones come out, Cingular must have inventory of the older models - do they sell those cheap? Is there a overstock.com for Cingular compatible cell phones?

I'm currently looking at a GSA auction. Has anyone been to one? Are they any good? I'm simply looking for a cheap car that's not 18 years old, and this seems to be the best place to find one. I'm not looking for a car to repair, which is why I've given up on police auctions. Usually, the cars at police auctions are near-totaled, or so I've found. Are GSA auctions the same way? If they are, which auctions sell working cars for cheap?

Here's the brief story: My grandfather passed away two days ago. My aunt somehow was appointed to be executor of the estate. I believe she "paid herself" for taking care of him. The hurtful thing is that I found his death notice in the paper and no one contacted me. I believe also that she may not have claimed everything on income taxes and that she starved him to death. What is the correct legal route in this situation?

My friend and I watched our children grow up together. One of her daughters was murdered about 12 years ago (domestic violence). The man wasn't incarcerated for the crime, but didn't get to keep the children. My friend and her husband raised the two children but she mourned the loss of her daughter. She was only in her 50's, the sorrow killed her.
Please, if you are in a domestic violence situation, remember, no matter what the person tells you ,about your family not caring for you, that you are not loved, you are useless, don't believe them. Lots of people, especially your mom, love you.

It's a generation of two, or three, later, and it seems that the problems that these movements were started to combat no longer exist - haven't in decades.

There are always a few idiots but that will always be the case - - - - - the vast majority of people are neither racist nor sexist. And the air and water in the US are cleaner than they were 100 years ago.

I submit, these movements were important at one time - they're not anymore, and a handful of career activists, political dinosaurs, like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Gloria Steinem, have just continued to try to conjure up historical demons to maintain their livelihoods.
