Sorry, can't agree with your sentiments, what you have to say is complete bollocks. Food is an expensive commodity ( try shopping sometime ) and the commitment in shopping, cooking and serving to for your pleasure is immeasurable. I have never tasted food that tastes like charcoal, even bad meals, and I think that this is either a complete wind up, you don't know what is good for you or you are mentally unwell. If you were my son ( or daughter ), I would simply tell you that you suck as well and toss you out of the window.

If there is nothing that will harm you in it, you had better eat it, or you will have to buy your own food, and cook your own food. It is not okay to disrespect your parents over something so small as your dinner. You will politely eat whatever you dislike, or you will have to pay the bills. Don't waste their food, time, or money on stuff you don't like. Don't bash them for trying to keep you alive and healthy. If they can't cook, then say to them, "Would you mind if I cooked dinner tonight, or do you think it would be a problem to eat out?" or else you can say, "I think it would be really great if you would take a cooking class, so that you can learn to make quick and tasty dishes, without the high expense, and it can be as healthy as you would like it. It would be fun. I'm sure you'd like it. If you want, I can even take the class with you!" Do not throw a child's tantrum, by tossing it out the window, then shout your complaints about how you didn't appreciate their effort in at least trying to cook a good home cooked meal. It's all about maturity and consideration. Learn common courtesy!

I have a better idea. Your parents would do well to chuck YOU out of the window, with all your clothes, etc., and let you find somewhere else to live.
Get a job, buy your own food, cook it yourself, buy your own clothes, etc.
Then you might have a change of attitude.

You say you aren't old enough to get a job? Then shut up and either eat or not. It is not okay to yell at your parents because you don't like the food.

I don't believe you're so stupid that you seriously think it's okay to toss your dinner out of the window. You're trying to be funny and not succeeding.

You sound as if you need to be in a YDC somewhere,

my 17 year old who is sitting here next to me said that you could do that. But don't say that stuff out loud.

I on the other had figure it like this....Go ahead. It's a free country. But also remember that in you exercising your free will so will your parents. If it were me a couple of things would happen. As the words came out of your mouth I would exercise my free will and B****slap you for thinking you could be so disrespectful. And then proceed to never cook for you again. Letting you come to your own conclusion that maybe it is better to politely say I'm not hungry may I be excused.

If you are not old enough to work why are you on the computer unsupervised? 13 yr olds can work.
Don't throw out your food. Tell them after you eat it that it wasn't to your taste and offer to help make the meal next time.

if you was my kid you would be sorting your own meals in future and learning to do it on a budget with your new job delivering the advertiser every friday and you'd soon learn how to wash your own clothes and figure out how to iron them
if i spoke to my parents like that even as an adult i would be eating that plate too now how about being a good little soldier and eating those greens if its that awful give it to the dog that way theres no evidence left ;p

i usually used to just pick at it until my parents finished then i would slip in under the table and let my dog have it! but everyonce in a while i told them to their face that it was a crappy dinner but they just told me to make my own food if i don't like the way they cook. but it's true- at least they're feeding you something because some kids think that the food we think is crappy is like a 5 star meal to them! so be thankful...

prolly not.

who's gonna open the window for you?

(if it already is open, do you think your aim is as good as when your parents cuff you upside the head?)

wouldn't seeking out your own solution be a lot better for your living arrangements?
bro, just help them with the cooking b/c you can't expect them to do anything when you don't put in some effort, right?

It is not only o.k., but I believe it is mandatory in 36 states. I believe the law is Article 56.7-82 and it reads:

"No one shall be subject to disgusting, vile, or otherwise inedible meals prepared by those who brought them in to this world. When one encounters such a meal, they must first yell loudly "YOU GUYS SUCK AT COOKING! I HATE YOUR FOOD, IT TASTES LIKE CHARCOAL!" Then they must toss it out the window. If the food is not tossed immediately or the phrase is not spoken verbatim, the person subjected to the meal must perform all cooking chores and lick every stamp on every letter leaving that residence for a period of no less than one (1) and no more than three (3) years. Ignorance of this law is no excuse for not observing and obeying the law, and furthermore there is no statute of limitations on being arraigned, tried, convicted, and sentenced for such a heinous crime as to NOT let people know that they suck at every turn"

No.
If you hate it so much, why don't you try making it next time?
Politely ask if you could help next time, so you can make it how you like it.

It's not nice to chuck it out the window, when all they want to do is please you.

Oh, and next time you are going to be an obnoxious, bratty, piece of ****, learn how to spell before you start b***hing about it online.
