Is there a way to buy a new older model cingular cell phone?

My wireless account is with Cingular(AT&T), currently my nokia phone is doing weird stuff (dropping calls, cutting in/out, error message all the time regarding sim card). The answer seems to be a new phone, but I can't get a new one on my account until September. When new model phones come out, Cingular must have inventory of the older models - do they sell those cheap? Is there a overstock.com for Cingular compatible cell phones?

You can try EBay.com or amazon.com. Enter your model number and maybe you will find a good deal. Also craigslist.org. Happy shopping!
