I've just started to play the guitar and the book I'm using mentions deadening a string but doesn't tell me what exactly that is. I thought it might mean not plucking that string, but I'm not sure. Can anyone clarify?

The mistake made by christians when debating evolution vs. creationism is that they assume that scientists have not sincerely and earnestly considered any evidence showing that evolution might be a weak theory and that creation is more plausible.

99% of scientists feel that evolution is true and they HAVE taken in consideration the claims of creationists.

these people are scientist for a living, for christ's sake.
This is what they do.
this is their trade.
how can you feel that you have seen all the evidence you need to see that evolution is junk science, while these people have devoted their entire lives to studying these things and will testify that it is perverse to say that evolution simply does not exist?
could it be that you don't really know that much about the complex of subjects of microbiology and macrobiology and you are basically just taking the word of other people who are affirming what you want to hear?

My dad's 44 yrs old and going through one of the hardest times of his life right now. He's suffering from depression and him and my mom recently got divorced. He's taking it really hard because my mum was his whole life. He texts my mom usually everyday and i always check her phone to see what my dads telling her..usually i love you and your my everything etc. i'm usually in tears when i read them because i know my dad is really heartbroken and hurting. I found a message yesterday telling my mom to tell us (me and my sisters) that he loved us a lot. that was at 5 pm, at 11pm there were another message telling my mom he tried to kill himself but when he thought of me and my sisters he couldn't do it. We ususally visit my dad every wk but i havn't seem him for a few now and i'm really worried. How do i handle this, i don't want my dad to take his life and i don't know what to say or how to handle it.

Usually when I dream like this, it is more of a "long-jump." Like, even in my dreams I cannot totally escape gravity. I have to come down sometime, but when I jump I go way high into the air, and very far. And there has been a few times I dream that the wind picks me up and I fly, but then come down when the wind stops.

Do you dream of flying? If so, what is it like? Are you totally free or restricted in some way, like I am?

i'm 12 and i wanna start training in martial arts. genetically, i should be able to get kinda good cuz my grandma when she was younger was really good at it. i dunno about my mom cuz she didn't show much interest in it. but i like it alot and i wanna start training so how long do you think it would take for me to get good at it. and how should i start?

Ok, so you die and go to heaven. Then let's say that when you get there, everybody is there. Buddist, Muslims, Taoist, Tribal Primitive Religious people, Hindus, and Atheist. God is there, welcoming you in. Now, everybody is there, are you happy everybody is there? Do you care that it didn't matter or are you happy for everybody?

I know, you don't believe the other people are going to make it, but that's not my question, answer my question. Thanks.
