Yes. Most systems are penetrated by taking advantage of and exploiting known unpatched bugs/flaws.

Most definitely YES!!!

Most people don't know this but, that is why if you have a firewall loggin info you will see alot of ports being scanned. Yes, some of this is normal but, it is also people looking for a way into you system without a password. Why do you think most security people disable the guest account? No passwrod needed....

No. Hacking is illegal. You will be caught and arrested. Don't try it. Also you do need a password.
