I brought my dog home from the animal shelter last saturday. The first couple days he was really jumpy, full of energy, and wanted to explore everything. I wouldn't let him off his leash but took him where he wanted to go (I thought he was only 4 months and not housebroken). When I took him to the vet on Thursday (he got fixed) I found out he was 1 year and realized he was housebroken (he hadn't tried but I take him out alot).

Now he just likes to sit by himself, play with his rope toy- he still chases squirrels on our walks and generally seems happy/content. Is he depressed or just settled into his new home?

Well, without thinking I bought a game, Desperate Housewives The Game and it wont install unless I have a 64MB DirectX 9 compatible video card and I've heard that you can download DirectX, but im not very good with computers in that way, so is there anyone that would like to help me with my itsy bitsy problem? =))

What do you think about this and has it worked? seems everyone has dated multiple times before getting married or in the right permanent relationship.
Does dating many times increase your security or self-esteem?
I am 19 and in my first ever relationship with an older girl who has also never dated. We've dated for about 1.5 years. When things are complicated, I wonder if its because we've never dated before. It brings out a possessive quality in us and makes us prone to insecurity. Yet, we want to marry no matter what when we can. Not jbecause we dont want to date another person but because we love each other. Any people out there besides me that want to date and marry one person in life?I hope I'm not messed up for thinking that even one relationship in the past can hurt the person u end up with and ur chastity. I waited for the right one. Am I a dreamer? idealist? idiot? I should also mention that how I was raised and my culture plays a part. Ex: Parents never had any baggage

I want to hear the cutest or most extraordinary thing that your African Grey has done. Mine is 10 yrs old male and has said or done some of the funniest things.

One morning when I uncovered his cage he looked at me and said " Good Morning, Grumpy"

He picked Grumpy up rather quickly, as I have only said it to him 3-4 times when I can tell he is in a rather fowl ( No pun intended) mood and doesn't want to get up in the morning.

He's my precious " Little Boy" and I just couldn't imagine life without his daily antics.

so far i know that there are:

2 years active duty and 6 years inactive guard
4 years active duty and 4 years inactive guard
6 years active duty and 2 years inactive guard

what are the benefits for each one?

the 2/6 is confusing to me, do you sign to be a reserve for this? or is it active duty?

can i choose any when i enlist?

My Mother and Father are separated and I live with my Mom, I only see my Dad on Christmas and Thanksgiving. He only calls me during those times and the rest of the year I do not hear from him. My b-day is right after Thanksgiving so he doesn’t even bother to call then. I didn’t go to his house for Christmas last year and I think he still has my present; he never did bring it up. He refuses to pay child support so every month we get a check (forced from him by the court system) for $100 plus we get his yearly tax return. I called him a few day ago to see how he was and let him know that I used the tax return money to pay for my class trip to New York, and buy my school Jacket, I also told him how my grades were (all A's all year 4.0 and #1 out of 582 in my class) and he didn’t have any response to this.

two cars are paralell parked, and there is not enough space for another car, except a smart car drives into the gap with headlights to curb, which makes it harder for the two cars to move out. this smart car hasn't been booked yet.

I think the turtle was a painted turtle however, i am not sure. Here is a picture of it.

The turtle laid 7 eggs. In addition to wondering what type of turtie it was, i am also wonder when those eggs will hatch. She laid them:
June 16, 2007 at around 5:33pm.
