Why, thank you for showing an interest in my belly dance! Though I am now 55 years old and the grandfather of four, I have longed to show off my belly dancing skills again after so long! Can't say anyone has wanted to see that aspect of my entertainment repertoire since that night back in the late 60s when I met up with the van of flower children just passing through on their way to Haight Ashbury, but I still think I can cut a decent rug, if you get my drift....

I may not be able to fit into the same costume as that night, but I'll give it a try, and do you want me to wear that stupid, clinging man-bra that's still WAY TOO BIG? It's totally up to you, of course.....

About the only other things to discuss are where, and how much? I live in southern Nevada, so would prefer to stay here in the stifling heat, and....do you think twenty dollars is enough? I'd give you more, but I'm sure you'll feel you've been paid even more when you see my "Dance of a Thousand Jiggles"!

Belly dancing originated in the West in the mid-ninteenth century. It was never an ancient Middle Eastern dance. The first documented Belly Dance was at the London Worlds Fairs in 1851. The performance dance form known there as the Belly Dance was supposedly based on one of the social dances native to the Middle East.

It was something they started doing at the Worlds Fairs in the 1800s.

My belly doesn't dance. Nor does any other part of my body at this time. I am still recovering from breaking my back.
