My favorite player is pretty obvious, Tom Brady. 3 time super bowl champion, 2 time super bowl MVP, but I'm not just going to rant on about that. The man is insanely good, he doesn't have the greatest arm in the league, nor does he have the greatest receiving core, yet he can still get it done when it comes down to crunch time. Look at last year, it was a prime example to what makes Tom Brady so great. His receiving core consisted of Caldwell, Gaffney, and Brown and the man came within a 1st down of the super bowl. The Patriots by all rights should have gone to the super bowl last year and not he Colts, face it, the Colts got lucky... big time. Had it not been for a dropped pass by Caldwell in the end zone, or even worse a dropped pass for a 1st down on 4th down by Troy Brown, the Pats would have won that game. Long story short though what it all comes down to is that Tom Brady is reliable when it comes to the big games and no matter who the opponent may be, as long as Brady is under center then there is no doubt in my mind that the Pats will come out on top.

Defensive play is Jason Taylor, I think he has played hard and is the glue to the defense in Miami over the last 8 years. I think he can play 3 or 4 more years if he wants, but a broadcast career is in the making. Offensively I like Shaun Alexander. Tough hard runner and he knows how to get into the end zone.

LaDainian Tomlinson. A class act, unlike a lot of the big-headed aholes out there. Yeah, he lost it when the Chargers lost to the Pats in the playoffs. But that's understandable, given the frustration factor.

Tony Gonzalez. I'm a huge Chiefs fan, Tony G has been a Chief his entire career, he'll retire as a Chief, and he'll go into the Hall of Fame as the best TE in the history of the game in a Chiefs uniform.

I would say Torry Holt as well. He is an extremely productive WR and he is a very classy player. I also think he is one of the most underrated players as well.

At this point, I would have to go with Big Ben, of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is from Findlay, Ohio and I live close to there.
