Have you noticed that processor speeds used to increase with time.... 1GHz then came the 1.8 GHz then 2.0 then 2.4 and then the 3.4 and they seem to have stopped at 3.2 GHz speed. Now we go in to DUAL-CORE processors... the only thing is that these dual-core things are back to 1.8 GHz ! Or... "DUAL-CORE 1.8 GHz" -- Can anyone explain please what is happening ?! Why haven't processors continue to rise in speed instead of what appears to be a con alternative ?

My friends and I were arguing this and I wanted to know if anyone could answer it.What could happen if you rented a uhaul type of truck and dropped it off clean and full of gas by the appointed time on the agreement BUT instead of dropping it off at the local location they expected you to leave it at you dropped it off in another state?

Would they techinically be able to sue you or have any criminal charges against you for that or would they just be able to sue you or bill you for the extra mileage you used?

Keep in mind the truck would be unharmed, clean, full of gas and dropped off by the time specified on the paperwork the only thing different is the city, state isn't the one you agreed to.

Be sure to include how you know your answer is correct or if it is just a speculation.

I have a really screwed up situation.

A few days ago, best friend, whom I've known for 10 years, asked me to set-up a date with a guy friend, whom I've personally known and mentored for 7 years. I agreed to help her because she's really shy around guys.

Before I could arrange the date, I went on a blind date that was arranged by my best friend's brother. And guess who was my blind date? The guy who I've mentored for the last several years! Do I love him? Yes, because he's the first guy I've met who is not a chauvanistic idiot like all the other men I've dated. He doesn't see me as a trophy. Plus, we have the same interests and stuff.

The only problem I have with going to the next level is the fact my friend really loves him, AND she trusted me to set up a date between her and him. I told this guy about the situation and how she feels about him.

Both this guy and my friend have been with me through thick and thin. I don't want to lose either of them! Please help!
