Not likely they will sweep the tigers. But, i think they are playing good baseball over the last month or so and have already earned respect. The beat the defending world champs in a series about a month ago............oh yea every one is beating them ooopppssss. any way washington has become very competitive since a bad start.

Probably not and it would take more than a sweep to gain respect because they are not a very good team. Most every team that goes to Washington to play the Nationals would not be happy if they do not come out of there winning the series. Respect comes when management fields a winning team that can beat you and you know you are in for a game when you play them, and that is not the case with Washington. Give them a few years to build a winning team and respect will follow.

Never!
Dimitri Young has lit a fire under their butts but asking for a sweep of the Tigers with the Nationals staff is like asking the Cavs to Sweep the Spurs!
Not gonna happen

they've got respect...but no, they won't sweep detroit. detroit will most likely win the series as they are about to take 2 of 3 in philly who is a much better team then wash.
