Why are they fighting?

I am not trying to be philosophical or anything I am wondering what they are fighting over and who exactly is fighting who.

Whose side is America on,I know that America is involved if not actively doing something.

How is it going who is winning.

Do any of you have good ideas for homemade recipes, solutions or contraptions that make horsekeeping easier?

I mean this in regards to everything: tack organization, grooming, feeding, tools etc. There used to be a horse magazine that ran a monthly column like this and I was frequently amazed with the things people invented.

During my marrage i was the perfect subrban soccer mom always trying to please everyone(especially my cheating husband) and appear perfect. Well needless to say my "perfect" marrage has ended and now i'm ready to go out and party party party!!! I had been married ever since i was 18 and never got to live wild when i was younger. But..... some people frown on this because i have kids at home. The are 12, 10, and 8. I think that's old enough to stay at home by themselves.... right? It's not like i don't spend time with them or anything we hang out in the afternoons, but they understand that at night mommy has got to go out and party. They even help me get ready sometimes. People always try to make me feel guilty for this, but just because your a mom dosen't mean you can't have a life does it? I'm not a bad mom am i?

I like Scifi, and I'm a Christian, I liked the Hulk, the Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Spidy, Superman, (Batman begins was not what I thought) The Fantastic Four, Star Trek, I Robot, X-men, The Transformers, etc I like them all.

However with all the great CGI and effects now available to movie makers why not remake Mr DeMills epic The 10 Commandments. Or how about a triogy called "The acts of the Apostles, Starting with the 40 days Jesys returned and stayed with the Apostles thru the Day of Pentecost, and follow the building of the Church. Reasearch the historical accounts of what happened to the original 12, and just make a great epic movie of Gods goodness, as these 12 men took this message to what is now 2000 years later the ends of the earth.

I hope someone like Speilberg, or Gibson reads thios and gets busy as the financial success of The Passion would prove the worth of these types of movie projects.

Any thoughts???? Any producers????

We have had a lot of wet weather here lately and today my daughter-in-law called in with my grandsons (aged eight, seven and three) having been caught in a shower. The boys' clothing was damp (she hadn't put them in proper waterproofs) and when it started to bucket down she had to stay here (even though she was only planning on a brief visit). The boys were shivering (although she denied this later) and I suggested getting them changed into the clothes that I have for the older two here for when they change after school (which she says are "old-fashioned" but my grandsons love them so I don't know if that had anything to do with it).
She refused and just told me to "turn the heating up"!
Is it dangerous for children to wear wet clothing?
I am very concerned as it may affect their bones and lead to arthritis in later life.
When my own boys got soaked I stripped them and put them into a hot bath and then wrapped them up warmly even in Summer.
Is she being irresponsible?

I'm doing a journalism survey: what do you think the role of the press is today, ideally and practically?
If you were allowed to fix one thing about the press and its audience, what would it be/why?

Ok I used to have a Bulliten Board in my room (corkboard), but the tape on the back ruined my paint. I want a bulliten board to just put pictures of my friends on that doesnt cost a hundred dollars. I saw one at pbteen but each piece cost like 25.00 each. That was crazy. My room is light purple. I just want a bulliten board that would go into a room that a teenager lives in. So if you could just give me a few links that come up with some Bulliten boards that would be great. Thanks
