This is NOT a religious war... this is a political war
They're fighting over power...... Hamas was elected to govern Palestine by the majority of the people in the election... Fatah would never give Hamas the full authority to govern
Arafat founded Fatah back in 1959 and up to this day there is still not a peace treaty with Israel nor has Israel recognized Palestine. Even though Fatah is more moderate and is all for peace talks which to this day mind you has never had a lasting resolution.
The US pushed for a democratic vote in Palestine and even though the Leader Mahmoud Abbas warned the US it wasn't a good idea still the US pushed for an election. So Palestine held an election and Hamas won the majority of the votes. Maybe because Fatah tried for peace for all of these years and failed maybe the Palestinian people thought Hamas might govern differently, maybe they thought it was their only chance for change.
America is now taking sides with Fatah and America sees Hamas as a terrorist malitia group so, because Hamas won the elections fairly, and the US and others were against Hamas so they cut aid to the Palestinians. Fatah didn't want to give Hamas the complete authority to govern Palestine and tried to share the leadership which went from bad to worse.
Fatah recognizes Israel and Hamas does not. That explains why the US is supporting Fatah.
Now the fighting has escalated in Gaza.......it's no wonder, because when other countries have broken the trust and turned their backs on the Palestinians leaving them hungry, hopeless, impoverished, and people are held prisoner in their own land being under occupation for decades. They begin to see no way out they begin to turn against each other.
So very sad.
2 things can happen, actually 3
1. Fatah will fight Hamas and take control of Gaza
2. Israel will fight Hamas and Palestine will change forever
3. Hamas will continue to control Gaza and who knows, maybe they will govern after all they did win the votes.
yes those are bullet holes, you will see many in Gaza especially
Free Palestine

They fight for power. I guess this crisis was planned to get rid of Hamas. The International Community is quite involved because they didn't want the Unity Government. During the fighting in Gaza all the senior Fatah officials were out of Gaza (they knew sth like this will happen). Hamas are wrong and criminals right now as well as Fatah. I, as a Palestinian want Hamas to go away. What will happen now that Hamas will take control of Gaza, and Fatah over the West Bank.
About the picture- Yes, these are bullet holes in the wall, maybe were caused by the Israeli bullets during the murder or before. Maybe they are not Israeli bullets. I don't know.

Two political and factions or the Palestinians are fighting each other for control of the Palestinian Authority and overall land controlled by the Authority. Hamas backed by Syria and Iran is the one the west sees as backers of terrorism while Fatah was the one the west saw as one that could be worked with to created a two state solution in the Middle East and have peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Thus the US would support Fatah.

Hamas has been killing Israeli civilians by choice, not even trying to engage the military, for 8 years. Israel's air strikes have been as precise as they can make them, bombing places they knew to be weapons factories, weapons storage, or places Hamas shoots from. The only reasons civilians are being killed is that Hamas packs these sites with civilians and children so that they will be "martyred" when Israel defends itself. These deaths are 100% the responsibility of Hamas.

The civil war in Palestine is the US government policy in the Middle East. This policy is been carried out in Lebanon, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia and many other places. The end game of USA policy is "separating the extremists from the moderates" and to do it you have to what Rice said productive violence by killing Innocent ppl.

They are fighting in the name of Allah. Israel and the US are who they really hate. If we don't secure Iraq, terrorist can and will use the oil in trade for weapons against the US and Israel.
By looking at a fallen body and the trail of the holes (most likely going bottom to top) and the even spacing of the holes I would have to put in an educated guess that they are bullet holes. Since the block is hollow I would have to suggest that the largest caliber is a fifty cal., which is supposed to not be used like that. It's most likely a 7.62 round of an AK-47, the most common of jihadist weaponry.

Hamas and Fatah are fighting over the supremacy of the Palestinian state. Hamas, in particular, is backed by Syria and Iran and also has a terrorist wing aisde from a political one. Fatah is supported by the US because it includes the moderate factions who are want normalized ties with Israel.

Its sort of a power struggle among the different factions. I think the US is mostly out of this one, for the simple reason that everything happened so fast there was nothing they could really do about it (maybe thats best anyhow).
..and yes those do appear to be bullet holes
