the Golden Grid Fish Restaurant in Scarborough
Situated overlooking Scarborough's pretty harbour, our spacious restaurant is spread over three floors and has recently been tastefully refurbished incorporating a nautical theme. The upper floors offer unrivalled views across the harbour and beyond to Flamborough Head (reservations are recommended for window tables).

Established over a century ago, half of which in the care of the Senior family, the Grid as it is known to its regulars is now under the personal supervision of John Senior and Chef d'Cuisine Mr Richard Johnson. Richard and his dedicated team have worked hard to build an enviable reputation for serving only the very freshest fish and seafood .Fresh live lobsters are our House Speciality and are usually available at no notice. We pride ourselves on our home cooking and always have a selection of mouth-watering specials and puddings to accompany the carefully chosen and may I say, very reasonably priced and interesting wine-list. We also offer a choice of bottled international beers/lagers, spirits and liqueurs.

The Golden Grid holds an "On Market Fish Licence". This means that our speciality fish and seafood will be selected and bought on a daily basis by our Head Chef directly from The Scarborough and Whitby fish markets. We believe that the ability to buy directly from the boat skippers will guarantee the freshest seafood available. It will also allow us to feature a wider range of speciality fresh fish.

Hope this helps, email if needing a more specific restaurant style...ittalian, american dining ect.

Enjoy your meal!!!!
