The Supreme court has actually settled this question awhile back, when Jehovah Witness's went to court for the freedom to opt out of the pledge. (It is a violation of their beliefs) At first the courts ruled that students COULD be required to pledge. Violence broke out against Witness's after this. Later the court ruled in FAVOR of the JW's and ruled that the schools can not REQUIRE students to pledge the flag. What do you think Should the pledge remain optional, should we revert back to making it mandatory or should we do away with the ritual all together ? Should students be able to skip over the "Under God" portion, or should they be REQUIRED to recite every word of the pledge. If you support MANDATORY flag pledging, how should it be enforced ? Would you allow an opt out for religious reasons, or any other reason ? If you support optional pledging, should the schools inform students that the pledge of allegiance is OPTIONAL ?

Some tool in a jeep almost rammed into the back of me this morning in a 30mph street, he was doin like 60 weaving in and out of a crowded 2 lane road. Im sick of it, Im going to mount fore/aft cameras and start giving police a nice video of these idiots..is it evidence enough to have them busted?!?

Guys, can tell me why would u ask the same one girl questions such as "what did u do for today?", "how's today?" every night online? Is it just a way of getting conversation going or there's more to it?

I am someone who enjoys a good discourse (discussion) on all topics, so why do people answering/sharing their idea and opinions do so with anger? Questions are a way to stimulate ones mind and to challenge you personally to find an answer that corresponds with your frame of reference. My question is if you are answering a question that goes contrary to what you personally believe, why do you feel the need to put both the question and the person asking the question down? Can’t you attract more people to your side of a belief by stating your answer politely and not condemning the questioner for just asking a question?

I put this in R&S because religion tends to be un-debatable and people tend to take the offensive very quickly when it comes to religion.
