Nobody cared about sudoku while it was still called Number Squares. But tack a Japanese name onto it, and it's wildly popular! Another example is the whole anime/manga craze. WHY?

I have NOTHING against Japan, or any other country for that matter, but what's wrong with being American? It seems to me like the main attitude is that the U.S. is dumb and all other countries are better. This is NOT the case! We are at least equals, right?!

Why is it cool to trash talk your own country and say you like someone else's better? It makes me sad.

he flirted with other girls
he went around with his friends
not once did he try to call me
and when i called him, he acted like an a$$
and pretended like he didn't care
he talked sh*t about me to his friends
and made me seem like a psychotic girlfriend
he only called to point out my flaws/errors
and that i need to change
and oh, did i mention that the reason why i broke up with him was because he liked another girl?
and he said it was no big deal.
and i was blowing it out of proportion?

I have a major secret on my cousin. She is engage. Me and my bf was staying with her so we all can help each other out. Well they started having problems with us after i told her i want keeping her 3 kids anymore, and afer theure car got fix(meaning they didnt need my car anymore). They wanted him out first, because the reason they gave him was he use too much water(take too many baths). Yea stupid reason. Well my cuz(not blood related), slept with her daughter's father a mnth ago, and her and her fiance has been together for 5 years. So would u tell the guy. By the way the guy is the one thats doing all the talking even tho he doesn't own anything, cause shes living on housing. . Also will u call the housing authority and tell thm hes living there, and hes also selling drugs and cant work cause he got felonies. Or would u just leave it alone, cause they will get theres for doing us wrong. By the way we are living good and have our on place.

Ok, first realize this is a hypothetical question.

Lets say I scored really well on the DLAB, but could already speak Russian and took the DLPT in Russian and got the highest possible score... would the military still send me to Monterey to learn another language anyhow? What if I still wanted to go there to learn another language?? How would that all work?

I'm interested in moving into a career in the aviation industry. I'm looking to do something other than pilot an airplane. Does anyone know of resources available to research the field? when i was young i was always a liberal democrat and wanted a democrat to win.....but when i started to research issues affecting me i was starting to get scared.....every issue that i agreed with was a conservative principle....i'm scared to be a conservative because people might call me a traitor to my race since i am black. what should i do? are conservatives good peopel? its it really bad of me to want to privatize education and build a fence? and no - i don't "party" with the rich, in fact i grew up very poor. what should i do if i find out i AM a conservative?

The Secret to a Long and Happy Marriage.
A couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on the beaches in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Their domestic tranquility had long been the talk of the town. People would say, "What a peaceful & loving couple".
The local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the secret of their long and happy marriage.
The Husband replied: "Well, it dates back to our honeymoon in America ," explained the man. "We visited the Grand Canyon, in Arizona ,and took a trip, down to the bottom of the canyon, by horse. We hadn't gone too far when my wife's horse stumbled and she almost fell off. My wife looked down at the horse and quietly said, "That's once."
"We proceeded a little further and horse stumbled again. Once more my wife quietly said, "That's twice."
"We hadn't gone a half-mile when the horse stumbled for the third time. My wife quietly removed a revolver from her purse and shot the horse dead.
I SHOUTED at her, "What's wrong with you, Woman! Why did you shoot the poor animal like that Are you crazy? She looked at ME, and quietly said, "That's once."
