Is there a different value for the letter on them (ie P vs. D marked) and if so, which is more valuable. What do you think is the best was to sell these coins?

Unless you have mint ones, they are only worth 25 cents. The P vs D is where they were made. P is for Philadelphia, D is for Denver.

Generally speaking, these coins are only worth the face value of 25 cents. The exception would be error coins, such as occurred with some Wisconsin quarters.

a quarter is 1/4 of anything. .25 i a 1/4 of a dollar. 15 minutes is 1/4 of an hour. this is why they say its a quarter past 6 or a quarter till 6.

The value of coins is determinted by their rarity, ie how many were produced. It varies from year to year and from mint to mint. P=philadelphia, D=Denver.

You could buy or consult a Red book of American coins to find the answer.

Some people will buy them for more than 25 cents. Ebay would be good for this.

if you have a lot of p quartars separate them then do the same with the others. Put both sets in a protetive sleeve and wait awhile because they usually dont increase in value this early unless you have some defect in the quarter. Take for example the Wisconsin quarter. there was some defect on the corn leafs making it easily worth 300+ but its unlikely you have one.

So far, they're not rare and are valued only at 25 cents. the best way to "sell" them now is to spend them like any other quarter.

Hang onto them, especially complete sets as you fill them, and their value will inch up as some become rare.

I'd be more valuable to sell a complete set. You'd get more than what the money is worth.
