A neighbors pet invades your property and poops on your front yard, would it be legal to shoot at it with a water gun?

You have a right to protect your property. As long as it is only just a water guy and shooting only water there should be no problems.

I don't think there will be a problem as long as you only shoot water.

call the police and ask them. I shot my associates dogs with a B B gun. It became kinda humorous because the dogs would start up to bark and then he would look into my residing house like he became asking permission, it became hilarious. I in elementary words had to shoot him 5 or 6 situations.
