No I don't. Prepaid phones are a rip off as it costs more to do pre paid then it would to have an actual plan. The money that you will be spending monthly on minutes by buying phone cards to activate your minutes isn't worth it. With a contract you have a plan and you are entitled to a certain amount of minutes a month at the same price. It's better to have a plan. I have a plan.

I use Net-10. From the extensive research I've done, it has the best price ($0.10 a minute no matter how many minutes you buy at a time). There are a few quirks about it, such as paying the whole minute for a ten second call, but I make so few calls (at most 2-3 a week) that I can manage.

The minutes roll over whenever you add time (at intervals as short as a month or as long as a year), so you can accumulate a lot of minutes for minimal payments. The service is also decent but it takes several minutes for my phone to find service when its turned on, which may be a symptom of buying a refurbished phone.

Also, I had this weird problem where I was harassed by the NCI billing agency for a debt that the previous owners of the number supposedly had. If you have this problem, when you call them, demand the operator remove the number from both the regular list AND the automated list. It might also help to have a lawyer friend give the the company a call on your behalf.

Yes, I do and I never have to worry about a single bill. Just worry about when I'm going to run out of minutes. But with T-Mobile on the T-zones part you can check up on that, so it's all good.
