Any links to tips/tricks are just another way to separate you from your money. Anyone with a slot machine "system" is a fraud.
Slot machines are highly sophisticated computers, rigorously regulated and constantly scrutinized by Gaming Regulators.
When a slot machine pays off, it is truly random. Some call it luck. The slot machine manufacturers invoke the words "statistics, probabilities, random number generator, etc.
The only advice I can give is for you to play on a machine that is fun for you. If it's fun, than hitting a jackpot is just an added bonus. Think of it as entertainment money, not "get rich" money.

Begin with the assumption that not all slot machines pay out at the same rate and that the casino management knows which ones pay out better than others. Now ask yourself where the management would put those slot machines that payout well to get the maximum benefit. The answer is fairly straight forward. The management will put those machines where people who aren't gambling can see people winning. Does it do the casino any good if the only people who can see the player win are already gambling? Survey the casino and decide where the non-gamblers would be; near the door, in sight of the restaurant or the bar, or perhaps by the lobby. Avoid slot machines that are in the middle of the gambling area. Avoid slot machines that aren't in a casino.

There is no strategy that guarantees wins on slots.
All you can do is control your loses and that takes a lot of discipline. The casino uses every trick it can to keep you in there pumping the machines but YOU ultimately have the say to either be foolish and lose hundreds or thousands or keep your loses minimal.
There is no such thing as a hot machine or strategically placed machine that pay out more
freaquently. Good advice for you is to stay away from slots and especially online gambling.

I played slots and video poker. I bought all kinds all books that "show" me how to win. In conclusion it is all gambling, when it is time to pay out, its pay out.
Only advice I can give you what ever money you have to gamble with make sure that you don't need it. Don't bring credit cards or check books and ATM Cards with you.
If You are going to play the slots take your time when you spin take a minute or two between plays. Even it might be boring you won't lose your money so quickly.
Don't stay on a machine that is not paying out thinking it might get hot within a few plays. I figure out it takes about 200.00 dollars or more (dollars machines) before it gives something back to you.
If You do hit a jackpot collect the money and go home.
I have better luck playing video poker

If you play slots online you can take advantage of casino sign up offers. Some give free money with no deposit needed, and most will give a deposit bonus for at least your first deposit. Most of these are 100% match or more, so if you use them right to get the most you can, you have a better chance of winning.
If you would like a list of casinos that will give great bonus offers just go to http://bestfreecasinochips.tripod.com

I have played at casinos all around the world. I used to play table games, but now I have become a "slot-a-holic". I can tell you if you decide to play online, you have to go to bodog.com. Not only do they have the best 'bonus' games I have seen anywhere, they also pay quite well. I have found it better to 'invest' my gas/airfare/hotel money that I used to spend to get to a real casino and play at Bodog. Check out "Diamond Dozen", it rocks!!!

Isn't it illegal to cheat on slot machines? But, as for your question, you can knock it on the side. That works for all but the newest ones.
