of the grave sight of Charles Taze Russell..Have you ever viewed it? It is a huge Pyamid with a cross and crown on all sides engraved in stone and the workds Watchtower and also the words "Laodician Messenger" engraved in it. I doubt you guys will ever look it up to see for your self. But, if he was a prophet wouldn't he know that Jehovah's Witnesses do not have anything to do with the cross emblem? What are your thoughts about this?

Picture this: Some years down the road, the supply of some vital resource gets so scarce that it causes global war. China lands in Alaska and marches down through Canada into the United States. We hold them off for a while but the end is inevitable. The entire western half of the US becomes occupied territory.

Eventually, the survivors in the west are trapped behind enemy lines. Those who headed for the hills in the beginning are using guerrilla warfare tactics on the occupying force. Basically only fighting small battles they know they can win and stying light and mobile.

That would make a pretty good movie or book, huh?

Ok so we are finally married... Yeah!!!! Not without the nick picking MIL Though... Thought it would calm down after the wedding but now she is nick picking the wedding annoucements? She wants us to send all her personal friends that we don't know an annoucement. I personally think she is on a gift chase if you ask me (which I think is totally tacky!! I want to be given a gift from the heart rather then well I had to do it...) I mean do we send annoucements to friends of the MIL that neither the bride or groom know? If I got a annoucement of someone I didn't know I would throw it in the trash!!! We had a very small wedding (which she made very clear she was unhappy about - but she didn't pay for it so she doesn't get to choose.... bottom line hubby and I paid for every thing and I think it is just really tacky to send annoucements to people we dont' know... she said if I didn't do them she would do the herself? What do you think????? Thanks....

Okay....so my friend bought her daughter a dress a few months back to be used as a flower girl dress..(I was really disapointed because I wanted to do that together). It's really pretty, but sort of creamy white next to my stark white dress. She said if I want the FG in another dress then it's fine and she can use this dress (which was on clearence for $15 anyway) for something else. Should I take her up on that offer, or let it be? Do you think creamy white looks okay with stark white? Not to mention I made her headpiece and it doesnt look good with the dress she bought......

"What's the matter with you do you have a hole in your head"?

As if being a child isn't scary enough you had to wonder if you actually had a hole in your head.

I am a eastern European white guy who moved from the north to the south. Up north, half of my friends are black. They all act cool. We are all equals. I listen mostly to Rap music.
When I moved to the south, I noticed blacks acting completely racist to me (staring me down in public places; if I am in a restaurant they say "here" when they hand you the food instead of "have a nice day;" and I know this because a lot of my other white friends said the same thing. This is why most of my friends from up north say the same old saying "I like black people, but I hate n****s." I agree. There is no excuse as to why they should be acting this way. They are simply acting out of ignorance. Any black person in America has more opportunities and a better life than most white people in the rest of the world yet they act like they got shorted on something. Stop being racist and get over it.

I text most... then I would say call is second and email is last – but ALL I do a lot. So even with my emails I send and receive like 30+ a day, so you can guess my calls are in like the hours margins with time spent and my text messaging is in the thousands every month (sent & recieved). Ha Ha!

My Stepmom is a total liar. My Dad married her like 17 years ago. He is now 50 , he thought she was year older - 51.
Nope turns out she is freaking 57 years old !!!!
Yeah the old broad is lucky cause she actually looks 45 or something. Ill give her points for being smart and slick.
So my dad was 33 and though he was marrying a 34 yr old.
Nope she was already 40 ! Wow
SOmehow she got knocked up my dad at 40 and 41 and I have two half brothers.
Anyway I dont hate her she has always been nice to me and my Dad loves her and she is great to him.
BUT she refuses to admit her lie. She just make slittl enervous jokes about never trust a woman who would tell you her age. and people are ageist.
My dad was upset at first and then he said she is stilla knockout and looks better than women who are 40s so he doesnt have energy to care. I told him to divorce her and he told me I dont understand their love and to neve rsuggest that again. We have lots of money and I dont want her to get it

I still have feelings for him even after he filed for divorce. If I could just get over these feelings I 'll be free. Right now I get these strong urge to call him an I do, we get into fights. I want to get over these feelings of missing him and the hurt and anger. I just want to be free.
Also, I cannot help but feel hurt that he has forgiven his mother who caused this divorce. He says that she's his mother that's why he has forgiven her. I hate her to hell !!!

Sorry fo ranting but right now my emotional level is very very high.

For those Christians (and those who only call themselves that) who believe that marriage should only take place between a man and a woman...Why aren't families more supportive when they find out their daughter is marrying a man who is obviously gay, or a straight man who is marrying a lesbian? Doesn't that count as an attempt to "redeem" them?

I have an assignment, which is to design and plan an experiment to compare the reactivity of metals / halogens using salts of metals/ sodium halides. ( or any other suitable method ) Can anyone suggest a simple experiment with a rather simple setup? Kindly name all reagents and equipment used. :)Also, I need to describe what happens in each step of the experiment. Could anyone help me out?

PS: What are sodium halides? Just wondering.

Thanks!

The president said that Iraq has weapon of mass destruction and Saddam is support the terrorists. US went to war with Iraq. To date, no weapon of mass destruction is found and Saddam is not related to Osama terrorist plot even though Saddam is a terror to his own people (Kurd people). The president then apologize saying it is bad intelligence, and his finger is always pointing away from himself. Many said the war is about oil. The big oil is hoping for $5/gallon, and now it is barely reaching $4/gallon. Robert Gates now says that Iran is supporting the Talliban.

Would the big oil gets $5/gallon? Would the American fall into the same hole again? Will US go to war with Iran?

A friend of mine is getting married in India and I understand that the traditional gift is cash. I'm fine with that - cash is useful. If this friend were getting married here in the U.S., I'd probably spend $100-200 on a gift. Is that an appropriate figure?
