Yes. The best I ever had was Grandma's homemade root beer. Mom got mad at her for giving it to me when I was about 12. Hers was about 10% alcohol.

I can not stand the smell/taste of root beer. My son loves it and every now and again (RARELY) I buy him some. I don't know what it is about it, but it really turns my stomach.

Ah.. root beer: nectar for the gods.
It's kinda cool that root beer has the word "beer" in it, but except for little babies, almost anyone else can drink it just about anywhere it's available for consumption.

Love love love it! A&W is the best for a float, but in general I like Barq's, especially at McDonald's! They always seem to have the syrup to seltzer ratio a little heavier on the syrup side and its perfectly yummy!
