A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow’s final exam. “Now class, I
won’t tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow.
I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury, illness, or
a death in your immediate family, but that’s it, no other excuses
whatsoever!” A smart-*** guy in the back of the room raised his hand and
asked, “What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete
and utter sexual exhaustion?” The entire class is reduced to laughter and
snickering. When silence is restored, the teacher smiles knowingly at the
student, shakes her head and sweetly says, “Well, I guess you’d have to
write the exam with your other hand.”

I bought a beautiful decorative pot and put coleus red kong plants in it, but i just realized that it has no drainage holes. Can i leave them in it? it is a plant that in shade so it want be out in the sun.

Hi guys. I am in a dilemna. I want to go study abroad , I want to go because I wanted to go for a while and also , I feel like its a good time because I just got out of a relationship (depressed), and I've never traveled. However, i just got promoted at my job so I'm making more money and I definently can use that money for bills and buying the stuff I finally want to buy. The trip is going to cost me 3-4 G's and if I stay (and don't go) I can make 3-4 G's. So I know, you can always travel later....and make money NOW! Or you can make money now, and travel later. Just from experience or hearsay, do you guys think I should GO? Or should I make money and travel LATER? Bottom line is this: If i go i gain growth, independence, and going outside of the sitation (ex bf) but i lose job, and 3G's. If i stay, i can suck it up and work my way up to being better again (not depressed)., and save money, travel later.

Honestly, what should I do?

Why does it seem like the closer to a lightning bug you are, the longer it lights up? I live near a lot of woods and i see a lot of very short, fast flashes coming from them. I assume it's lightning bug flashes, but why are their flashes different from the flashes of the ones closer to me? Does this have to do with the distance or are those flashes really faster? And if so, why?

It greatly disturbs me that the Equal Rights Amendment, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal_Rights_Ammendment, proposed in 1972 was not ratified, and it disturbs me even more that it has not yet been reintroduced in congress. Why is this? I can interpret it in no other way than an institutional misogyny. Do you feel the same way? Do you think it should be part of the constitution? If so, why? If, not why? Does it disturb you that it isn't part of the constitution?

My 14 yr old son runs mile and mile1/2 at 5:20 and 8:20. His coach is horrible as he makes him run 3-4 miles everyday---and that's it. He also makes him run in the field because he says running everyday on track will give him shin splints. I know he is full of sh**. can you confirm he is full of it? What type of reps should he run? I am thinking 2-100m, then 2-400m, then 1-800m, then 2-400m, then 1-1600m, mixing up the distances and running 60%, then 75%, so mixing up the % of running all out as well. on one day and then 3-4 miles on the other days--alternating. Anyone have ideas? He is 2nd in district as the top runner is 4:50 and 7:40. Now he is entering HS where the comp will be tougher.

I'm making stir fried beef in an orange glaze with some molassas, and half a cup of coffee leftover from this morning.
reducing it to a gooey sweet sauce, and searing some green beans in butter with sea salt.
Topping it off with a fine glass of claret.

Our beautiful little girl Scooter (4 year old Australian blue heeler) recently got into rat poison. Thank God we realized it very early, I am guessing as we got her right in at the vet and they saw her right away. They took EXCELLENT care of her and even though we paid them of course, I want to do more. Does anyone have a cute idea that my 3 dd's could make to show the vet/staff how much we appreciate their help (besides a card)? This really is a miracle that she has done so well, and we want to let them know how appreciative we are. Thanks!

my mom gave away the old one that was working fine and easy to use and bought a new expensive one with the fancy buttons and what not on it and its small too. and something is wrong with it. doesn't drain all the water, stops randomly when not supposed to.

the old one is easy to use, works, and is bigger than the new 1 she bought.
