talk to your parents first, they can help you get the right counseling. See a nutritionist so you can start to re-gian sensably. If you just binge, like others have suggested, you will end up freaking oout and start the cycle over again.

If you are really truly ready, I suggest two things. First, tell your parents. Tell them you want help and are willing to do anything for it.
Second, I suggest going to the hospital for help. They can help you there and even set you up with good resources to make sure you stay healthy and do make a full recovery. Just know that they will most likely admit you there, ask you many hard questions. So be prepared and tell them the honest truth. I would also put a few things in a bag so your mom or dad can bring it to you later on, just so you do not have to wear their clothes and use their things.

It is hard, no matter the illness, to ask for help and to truly know you want it and accept it. I ccan understand. When I was 16, I finally, after many years of suffering, admitted I had a problem. I checked myself into the hospital for depression and anxiety/panic. I got into counselling, I was put in a great treatment program, diagnosed, and am now a happy, healthy 18 year old. It has taken tons of hard work, but it was worth it.

If you want this, you can do it. You can get better, and recieve the help you want!! Best Wishes!

I am anorexic too and it is very hard thing to get over. You probably need to see someone for at least a little bit, just to learn how to eat normally again. You can try to get better on your own but in my experience, you'll end up going back and forth with it. Its kind of something you're unfortunately going to have to deal with for the rest of your life. If you have health insurance, tell your doctor you need to be referred to a specialist that deals with eating disorders or if not, tell your parents that you need assistance. Its ok to need help getting over things every once in a while, no one is perfect and no one can do everything by themselves. We need each other every once in a while. Also, stay OFF the ED websites, the myspace groups for ED and stop watching shows with real skinny girls b/c it just makes you feel like its ok to be that way,. The only way I got better was getting pregnant, I knew I have to eat for my baby, but I am going to have to deal with it again I know after the baby comes and I have baby weight to lose. So I know how you're feeling. Just tell people. Its ok. And its ok to get better. Good luck! I hope you get better, it ravages your body.

it's good you admitted! as well as having to start gaining weight, you have to sort out the physiological side of this. Some of my friends recently went to a program where the stayed in a "hospital" (it wasn't exactly a hospital but was called one) They had doctors and physiologists talk to them and stuck on a set diet....if you didn't gain enough weight you had t stay a little longer. Get help soon....now you've admitted it will all be OK....

Talk to your parents. If you don't have one you want to confide in then talk to a teacher or counselor at school, find an adult you can confide in. Then get help.....anorexia isn't something that you can get over in a night....get some sort of support.

Oh yeah....................go EAT!!!! Admittance is the first step to recovery...congrats!

well first off, fair play this is a big step and I'm proud of you!
Try talking to your parents/teacher but if you feel you cant try talking to an older sibling. Don't be afraid because they will support you and be so proud of you for taking this step

I'm glad that your admitting it, congrats. You should talk to a parent or counselor immediately, they should know what to do. Also schedule a doctors appointment to get more help.

When you are hungry, EAT. I know it will be EXTREMELY hard. It isn't an easy recovery, but just remember that you will be saving your life. Don't overeat, but just eat until you are satisfied.
